Ok, what about this musing, is Jordy Rapa a good option...and hear me out here.
If you take out week 1 (I have no recollection of why he might have scored that low, but whatever) his average looks a lot better and should still be under priced.

Furthermore, He seems to have a very good combo with BJ this year and they both go looking for work (somewhat mansour like).  56 last week, 67 this week....although his points come from attacking stats, they are more from things like TB's rather than tries, which I think are the 'safer attacking stats' if you will.

Edit: Does anyone have his BE?... please?

Alright. Was that the round he got 4 points? I think he got concussed or something if I remember correctly. He should be a good pick up, I'd imagine low ownership as well, less than 2% maybe? He should be bagging some tries soon, its a goer.

I think Munster is the better choice overall, but that extra 100k+ from Lolo could come in handy elsewhere. Personally, I would've taken Munster, but couldn't afford it with RTS 33k drop, so I got Lolohea.

    @Stinkbug

Munster for a more "Certain" scorer

Lolohea for somebody who could average the same as Munster, plus is cheaper. Risk is he bombs.

Honestly, I cant see him being that bad. 35 easily every week minimum. He does the SKD sideways crab sometimes and just palms guys, which counts as TB's I think?

Were Try Saves in the game last year? If not, his average will/should be higher this year than last year. He should be able to save at least 1 try every game, which is 5 points?? Not sure.

I don't know, the stats have him down for 80min, but the rest of the stats don't seem to line up. I should remember but I think I've been doing my best to forget some of our recent performances.

Edit: but yeah, .77% ownership, first bye in Rd 15 being a raider and such....hmm

Hmm, HHunt to CLaw or Aitken. Would have to decide this week as I suspect CLaw would be unreachable the week after with a single trade. All the drama over CLaw on this board kind of shies me away.

There is really no cash out options. Maybe King from the Knights, that's all I can think of really. Or Addo-Carr (Arguably)

I don't have need to....I want to lol

Hi, my name is Showbags and I am a tradeaholic..

But seriously I am only thinking of trading this week as it would strengthen my team for byes. Lose 2 players who aren't in my 17 in saifiti and taylor and play just 2 byes between them for hopefully a cash cow (who hopefully plays 2 byes) and norman. I just feel norman is about to string some consecutive scores, this is a pre-emptive trade that will save me $50k+ if I was to wait until round 11 to bring norman in. Means I have norman as 4th reserve over BLAW, increasing points by about 5-10 per week. When Pearce comes back I don't have to play hastings that first week while we see what score he will get either.

While I would prefer not to trade, I am just tossing up whether it would be better to make the trade this round or round 11-12.

Speaking for animals though, anyone bringing in Bird this week? BE of 23 as well.
I would if I had more trades but got CLaw and Aubbo in centres and opted for Lolohea as a bit cheaper.

Aitken is going to get cheaper with his minus 5, I would wait a few weeks and keep an eye on his BE

Claw is in my team and has been in good form the last 2 games, maybe because Woods isn't there atm, hopefully he'll keep it up

Didn't you personally hold Bird up and demand kick metres and offloads, he obliged and you still didn't get him last, nor this week? affraid

Cheers for the Rapa discussion lads. There aren't necessarily any cows to downgrade to, but there definitely feels like there is a glut of tempting mid to high priced guys. Finucane, Lolohea, Rapa, Mannering, Bird etc all tempting either because they look to be bottomed out or hit some form. Also somewhat POD's  with the exception of Mannering.

Haha that is true, while getting a coffee I did ask him to and did mention I would bring him in once he bottomed out.Haha I am a bad human being.. Thanks for reminding me of my promise..

    But....but I still want Lolohea.......

Money where my mouth is, so like the great wise mexican el paso taco girl once said "Why can't we have both" . So fuck you Kennar, Bird your'e my boy blue..
Bird if you are reading this, Triple shot of espresso on me next time, need to amp you up for TB's

Thinking I want to have 2 of Finucane, Mannering, Bodene in my 2nd row, perhaps even sooner rather than later. That's not great for byes however, when I just picked up Tohu and none are DPP to give me some extra flexibility around that period.

I think I can still make it work, but that would mean I should really look hard at a bye friendly option like JDB as well. That would give me a 2nd Row of Whitehead, JDB, Tohu, Parker and 2 of the guys above.

It just doesn't feel very balanced though as I'd have a stacked 2nd row, but usually only 2 playing at best during the bye rounds. On the other hand, Finucane, Mannering and JDB all look likely to be only going up in price from here....

Hmm, maybe I'll return to my previous thoughts about the backline instead. Tricky period, tricky week.
