yeah fair enough, taylor has b/e this week of 21 which is definitely achievable i reckon - which on that topic: do we know if he is actually playing?SI wrote:
Taylor part of a fire sale this week looking around the traps ( I sold him a month ago, which was too early but was before the Roberts injury). Hastings is a definite hold to me. Even once Pierce comes back will give him a few games to see what happens.

Bodene or Mannering? Having Bodene is great for the POD factor but is that worth it as I can't see Mannering scoring poorly enough times

My halves are the least of my worries at the moment lol M'bye, Hunt and Hastings aren't a terrible 3 so can hold Taylor for a wee bit unless he starts losing a horrible amount of cash. Now have to get rid of Hymel though which at least means I can upgrade a second rower to a gun

Stinkbug wrote:How long are people planning to hang onto taylor and hastings - both seem sells with senior halves partners coming back now/soon. I've got Mbye, Hastings, Taylor and Feeney (sigh) in my halves the moment and have double traded every week (20 left) so far - I need to conserve trades but at same time need to deal with those two at some point and not sure when.
Not sure what's wrong with a 46.6 average from Hastings including 49.7 across the last three, you can't do much better than that from a half. His BE is still low 20s, he's keepable at least until R12 and given his other bye is R16 he's probably good to keep through the byes as well.
Taylor, though, has bad byes (12/18) and is much more expendable. He'd be one I'd look to keep until just before the byes, BE still low 20s but starting to score about that as well, so he might top out soon. Very reliant on his dodgy fitness and what's going on around him at the Titans. He might not be the only one who's had a gutful.

Yep, Obliques are part of your Abs. There is some shit going around that it's a hernia, but sounds like they are just people getting confused.

Garvey on the bench for the Dogs. Interesting to see how he's used I'd consider re-buying him just because he'll make a ton of cash even with a 20 score but oh I'll conserve my trades.

yep thinking I might go with the straightforward move here and bring in mannering. bodene is a great option who I could bring in down the line but better to play the safe move here and not try and be too clever and cute with my plans

What are these Parcell rumours?
I was going to play both him and Blawrence. But I have no players to sub in from later games if one pulls out.
Maybe I should play Gordon, that way I only need one of them to be in.
Didn't really see Gordon scoring well against the cowboys though, which is why i put him in NPR.

I'm thinking of benching Gordon too but I've been weary in the past in benching guys who I don't think will score well. I could play Cullen in place of him but it's a risk. You just never know what the Eels will pull off

I just need one of BLaw or Parcell to play. Both being out for whatever reason would be worst case scenario

Parcell apparently hasn't trained this week.
And even if he plays, DCE may return and force him to the bench.
Also, Michael Gordon is under an injury cloud too, so watch out for team lists tonight
