Matterson actually looked a lot better than Hastings tonight, not that that means he'll get picked over him.

I think Feeney will play anyway with Gagai out. For the one game I think he'll slot into Fullback.

I think Mattherson looked better too but Hastings did look good next to Pearce last year and it was a big ask for the 20 year old to lead the team around I reckon he will be at least first picked and have a couple of weeks with Pearce. Then if he is still struggling and Mattherson is still tearing it up for the Roos there'll be a swapsies
