Looks like a theme now, up into the top 1000 after that round. This despite (C)am outscoring all my playing wfb/ctr combined. All things considered went good, missed out on majory injuries except for manners, but i reckon he is back round 10 as we have the extra weeks break between 9 and 10 for the test

981 including Mannering this week. Has moved me up to 18th overall after hovering around 70 for the last few weeks.
I have always been a h2h player so will have to start looking at byes. I think I have 10 playing in r12.

Well due to Loloheas injury I'm now down to relying on Ferguson, Holland and Gutherson as my centres,

My biggest regret lately, trading out Evans instead of Grant after Woods went down.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
Well my fantasy team sux - or perhaps more to the point I suck at playing this game
It certainly seems to be a game that takes at least a season to get your head around. Latest failures for me include missing the cut-off point to sub out Parcell and therefore getting Guthersons 28 instead of a more healthy 57 from BLaw. The only positive I guess is that my season high 820 has shot me a massive 2000+ places up the rankings to a little better than 17,000th over all.... Pretty tragic really. I'll stick on at it though and see if I can push the top 10,000 or so by the end of the bye rounds (one thing I may have planned well for).
On a more positive note, I went to the rugby on Friday in Dunedin and banked $220 on the first try scorer. After the game I decided to double down and whacked it all on a multi:
Broncos, Dogs, Raiders, NQ, Sharks, Manly, SG +2.5, Storm, Chiefs, and Rebels
With live betting on both the Broncs and Rebels the multi ended up about 47:1 => banked a touch over $10k. It eases the pain of my rubbish fantasy team a touch
Finger crossed I might have won the tipping comp for week 8 on another site - got all 8 but my margin pick for the Brocs game was 14 - will have to wait and see if thats good enough to take the prize.
As for big regrets:
Starting the season with McCullough, Woods and to a lesser extent Cherrington, Pauli, RCG and Ferguson.
Not starting with Cam Smith, Graham, and Tedesco.... Hopefully I've learned something for next season.

Already on it mate, although I'm only gonna use the residual from the $10k.
At this stage I'm thinking ~ $700 on 4-way multi SG, Roosters, Storm (NRL), Chiefs (Super Rugby) - probably won't pay much though as haven't seen the odds yet.

I wasn't seeing things last night, Cam did actually touch the ref. I wonder if he'll get cited

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
Time to replace hymel hunt today. key targets include leilua, clawrence, naquama, aitken, or croker. I'm gonna ignore holland because I missed him already and I'm too stubborn to pick him up now. THese guys all have at least 2 bye games played. alternative is to play gutherson who actually doesnt look too bad at this point. I know there has to be a few of us that got burnt by that 7 on the weekend, but hunt was peaking anyway.
Will also be interesting to see how the souths backline reshuffles with hunt out. But I think avaua will slot straight in with nielsen on the other side.

johnston is presumably not far off as well so neilsen may get the ctr spot, johnston to wing.

890 this week. Having, sezer, barber, Mitchell, gutherson, teddy,Kenner and mansour, (pretty much my whole back line) stinking the place up. What could have been.
Have to offload sezer, was averaging 52, right up the moment I bought him. Looks like he needs Austin to see points. Could hold on to him for one more week. See if things turn around.
