Hope NSW dont pick Cartwright this year, then again if Loz doesn't pick him he is an idiot.

I was against him at the start of the year, then liked the idea, then against it again. Im back on board now.
I wont hate loz it if hes not picked this year but Carty still does have those mistakes in him and tries to push the pass too much - but if he does get picked, I will love it.
Personally I think Hoffman's time is done for NSW and with no halves I think Bird will be picked at 6.
So that leaves 2 back row spots.
Picking Carty who has the skills of a 6 could go a long way to negating the fact we wont pick one.
Pick Wade Graham as well and there is another skillful back rower who make up for it.
You have coote out the back so that covers a bit of the kicking game too.
I dont think the team will look like this, I dont see Loz making many changes at all. But I would like
Coote
Not sure. Mansour I guess... but his upright running and mistakes
Jennings
Dugan
Fergo
(Duno) Maloney?
(Duno) Hodko?
Gallen
Farah
Tamou
Graham
Scott
Bird
Peats
Carty
Klemmer
Fifita
In reality I think the side will be
Dugan
Hoppa
Jennings
Jmoz
Fergo
Bird
Maloney
Gallen
Farah
Tamou
Hoffman
Scott
Jackson
Klemmer
Fifita
Merrin
Cordner

Re: City vs Country
City v Country concept has been dead for years. So has the NRL all-stars game. Lets combine the 2, Play a real All-Stars game with all proceeds going to Indigenous and country programs. I reckon we follow the NFL pro-bowl formula, 2 legend coaches should be picked and then they "draft" their teams from all NRL players. So maybe you get Sterlo as one coach and Joey as the other then they take turns picking any player, any position until they fill 19 spots each.

I think they should do it on grand final day of course they can pick any player across the nrl except those who are playing in the grand final.
If they do it at the start of the year its taken as a joke. Two or three years ago Watmough pulled out of the all stars due to injury then played the very next night for Manlys trial game.. How is that allowed haha.
