There's a rumour Hastings has been dropped & Matterson will play in his place. This will mean I'll have to play Gutherson unless I trade out Hastings but with the Roosters playing the 2nd to last game it is a problem as it won't be confirmed until then.

So many questions arising from this. It seems to be true but we wont know for sure until teamlists 1 hour before kickoff to know for sure. Would he be dropped for just the one game? Would it be permanent? Hastings is crucial for my squad as he is a starter and I need him for his byes later down the track.

well i was tossing up turfing hastings or aubbs this week so that would make it easy.

Hastings would mean I have 6 red dots. How many people wouldnt be able to field a 17 with Hastings out?

Just reading a Roosters forum & apparently Hastings has an inflated ego which is not appreciated by a lot of fans & they all welcome the change if true. Reading the article maybe his father just said what he said to shut up the disgruntled fan & to stop him posting negative comments about his son. No one has any definitive source that Hastings has been dropped & it's all based on his father's comment.

I have 7 red dots & if he's out that would make 8 which is the norm for me lately but unlike you mate my red dots are mostly crap players who aren't even playing haha.

Apparently there's a rumour that Tedesco is trying his best to make the team v the Knights to try & make the origin team. No source except someone's comment on a forum.

Didn't this rumour already come up a few weeks ago and was proven to be absolute fluff? I'd drop Joe Burgess, Sam Moa and Aidan Guerra before I even thought about dropping Hastings plus he kicks goals. Playing Matterson in his place isn't going to suddenly create enough points in the Roosters to outweigh the fact they won't be going up in 6's.
Still I was thinking of trading him out anyway so I might just do it.

Phillips purely on $$ and the fact I can see at least one of Hopa/Morris being selected. Also the more definite black dot down the track with less chance of a AE from him.

Toutai because Jennings will play Origin and he'll take a centre spot even with Taka going back to centres. Phillips is no guarantee because right now it seems likely J-Moz will be left out of the team to accomodate Dugan in the centres and either Coote/Moylan at fullback. He's a good chance for Round 12 with Hoppa missing Sunday's but there's still the unknown factor of Chase Stanley coming back. Holland's been good enough to keep his spot but Stanley's played wing before and Phillips is the least experienced one there.

Howdy gents! Finally back in Australia, internet sorted etc etc. Has been a pretty difficult few weeks with not being able to make changes, keep up with goings on here and missing out on my footy in general but all should be back to normal now I hope!

All weak I was going to trade out Aubs & Hopoate. Now I'm trading out Hastings & Fensom for Leilua & A. Fifita.

Pearce won't play origin it seems plus these rumours means he's out & Leilua is a gun. I know Fensom out is probably a stupid trade but he's not getting big minutes & he's only been scoring in the 40's lately plus he's injury prone whereas Fifita is a gun & it seems he won't play origin & with Gallen going to play origin Fifita usually sees more ball & gets more hit ups.

Atm I have so many red dots I'm just bringing in the guns for my final team.

Why are you trading Fensom out? Personally think he will be back next week or week after.

For what its worth Moley confirmed Hastings has been dropped. No word on how long it will last however. Could be over very quickly like Mighty Fish or could last for weeks like myself.

Glad you asked mate . With my newly found skills I will attempt to finally post that 6 week period of bye planning from last year. My 3ic has a presentation that I have to go watch soon, so that only gives me about an hour to work out how the fuck I did it the first time

Yeah, you and I this week WL, will be a classic bottom of the table bash. I have done miserably for the first 10 weeks and fully expect to be relegated to as far as L7 next year after coming to L2 from there this year. All good tho, knew this year with an overseas move and all that entails was gonna be tough but I'm still having some fun!
