Anybody want to disclose their limit to what a trade and points is worth to them?
For instance, I think banking the 78k and likely 1-2 meager scores from cashing Lamb to Hughes is a worthy investment.
But even with a trade in hand this week, the thought of trading out Green to Su'a for 36k and one meager score is not worth it.
I figure my value line sits somewhere around the 60-70k and at least one big bye round.
What can I say, I'm cheap! Embarassed

I agree with your 2 examples. Finding it hard to put an actual points and dollars figure on it, but the 78k and chance at 80 or mose points over 2 games is worth it during byes.

I'm with you. The first one I think is worth it and I'm doing it myself. If he does well and JT gets a rest, he may even get an extra game in there, you never know. The second one, I'd probably wouldn't do.

The frustrating part is only being able to bring one keeper in this week, even if using the three trades. Starting bank of 112k is the reason. Can get the one gun on the back of just two trades though.
Cant decide if i should bring in Bunt / Graham or Aitken.

Have SJ and Milf in the halves, so would be a same team pairing if opt for Bunt.

Posted this on the Warriors thread but thought it was kinda funny so worth posting here too.

As discussed the Hurrell to the Titans was rumoured a while back and as of now they are "officially" in talks with the Titans now.

Funnily enough though, I was listening to radio sport coming into work today and Konrads manager accidentally called the radio station and in doing so let on he was actually trying to contact DHL, so I guess the deal is done and Konrad is on the move Smile

So the story being reported over here on Norman is that Norman has claimed he was handed the container of Pills (E and muscle relaxant) shortly before he was found to be in possession of them by security and handed them over. Para saying they will respect his claim of innocence and therefore it sounds like he will play this week at least.

Also reporting that initially these guys were all out for dinner with a bunch of gang members, they took a photo which was posted on FB before then heading out to the casino.

Is that what is being reported in OZ as well? Sounds like not a single brain between the players involved and Para management.

Yeah, that's the crux of it here as well.

    This was posted on NRL.com

so if you still think its cheating, then you are definitely missing out

"The second point is to be aware of the so-called captaincy loophole which is available to you in the bye rounds. You can't change your captains during a round but you can substitute them out of your 17 (for situations where, say, Cameron Smith is a late withdrawal). You also get an auto emergency from your lowest-scoring non-playing reserves if one of your starting players doesn't play in a round. So in bye rounds because you probably don't have a full 17 you can take advantage of this and get two bites at the captaincy cherry.

    Here's how it works.
    1) Pick a vice captain who plays before your captain (like Ben Hunt, whose Broncos play on Friday night).
    2) If your vice captain scores big, you can substitute your captain out of your squad altogether, bringing a non-player into your 17 (like somebody who has a bye this week).
    3) Because you won't have any other scorers in your non-playing reserves, your original captain will have his score counted in your team score as the auto emergency.

Again, this only works when you don't have a full 17 – so on the three major bye rounds – and it still involves the risk of guessing whether your captain will outscore your vice captain. But it could net you a few extra points."

triple M reckons he wants an immediate release (could just be speculation) but maybe those things were intentional moves to annoy the club.
