Wasn't aware if the loophole till I read about it here. Now I'm gonna go all lance Armstrong on it. It's not cheating if everyone is doing it!

This is the article a couple of us mentioned. They aren't exactly hiding it.
Lone Scout wrote:The second point is to be aware of the so-called captaincy loophole which is available to you in the bye rounds. You can't change your captains during a round but you can substitute them out of your 17 (for situations where, say, Cameron Smith is a late withdrawal). You also get an auto emergency from your lowest-scoring non-playing reserves if one of your starting players doesn't play in a round. So in bye rounds because you probably don't have a full 17 you can take advantage of this and get two bites at the captaincy cherry.
Here's how it works.
1) Pick a vice captain who plays before your captain (like Ben Hunt, whose Broncos play on Friday night).
2) If your vice captain scores big, you can substitute your captain out of your squad altogether, bringing a non-player into your 17 (like somebody who has a bye this week).
3) Because you won't have any other scorers in your non-playing reserves, your original captain will have his score counted in your team score as the auto emergency.
Again, this only works when you don't have a full 17 – so on the three major bye rounds – and it still involves the risk of guessing whether your captain will outscore your vice captain. But it could net you a few extra points.

Wait till people find out that Fanhub have removed it so if you sub out your Captain you get diddly squat. LOL.

If you could trade in Fifita in one trade next week would you do it?
I'm tossing up between Jbrom and him. I'd be trading out Tolman

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 34
That would be pretty funny. TBH I'm unlikely to use it but thats purely because I'm terrible at making decisions and if my VC scores in that 'Almost good enough' area I hate having to guess if the C will score higher. Going through the decision once is already too difficult for me on bye rounds, hence why I bought (C)am so I don't need to worry about it on others.Bren wrote:Wait till people find out that Fanhub have removed it so if you sub out your Captain you get diddly squat. You drunk or what? Hold Tolman for his byes. Without Jackson and Klemmer there he will come good.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 34
I need a cashout for Holland after round 12.
What I need is a cheap centre who preferably plays the big byes 15 and 18, and the mini-byes 13 and 19 which I am short in.
What I need....
Is Dale Copely

Ps: does everyone have some pre prepared posts for once this hits 51? Need to be quick getting it to 52 before the fuzz shuts it down.

Well that's why I was thinking of Jbrom. He will play more games than Tolman from next week

Interested to know what's with all this love for ET? I get that he's undervalued but didn't think he'd be such a popular buy to this extent (judging by the number of times he's been talked about this week)
