Police are investigating allegations of NRL match fixing.“The Organised Crime Squad is in the early stages of examining information to alleged match fixing in the NRL,” a police spokeswoman has told journalists.
It is understood the games under investigation are:
* Manly Vs Souths Round 16 2015
* Manly Vs Parramatta Round 24 2015

Racing NSW offered to help the NRL set up a watchdog for this sort of crap years ago and surprise surprise nothing happened. The NRL and clubs take a fortune from bookies but won't take any proactive action so instead it's up to the police to waste their time on this shit when it's the games responsibility.

Just going through the stats for both those games and there is a player who had triple the errors of his season average in both games. Obviously just pointing this out as were all fantasy players he so we find stats interesting, not from any belief of wrongdoing on that players behalf.
Apparently Eddie Hayson is involved as well, they should have listened to RNSW. Ray Murrihy is retiring tomorrow and if I was Greenberg i'd be giving him a call.

2006 Knights vs Warriors on the Warriors just before Andrew Johns was ruled out, and
Two games last year on Manly games.

He has won big and back in 2006 he was banned from Star Casino and the Tab.
It is in my fucked up opinion that that the bookies don't like losing so they have fed the police some info to start up an investigation. They will eventually report that there wasn't enough evidence!

It's widely known in punting circles that Hayson is absolutely hopeless on the punt hence the need for cheating.
Bookies have no need for conspiracies to stop themselves losing they just ban you if you win.
