Happily back your lot in the football over England but can't say I'll be supporting you in your next few rugby matches. Long odds for your lot there too. :/

Jesus Christ I only had 15 players this round and still managed to win both of my league match ups with a semi respectable 792 points.
I may not be having all the luck this season but I am having a huge amount of it in the leagues!

That is the third win I've got in L2 where I've scored in the bottom 3 scores out of the 16 teams.
I'm actually impressed.

Yeah, 794/15 here. Dropped 400 spots to 1040 but should have 16/17 for the remaining byes with a bit of luck.

We will be lucky to get within 18 points mate, as effective as Warrenball can be at times it just doesn't work against the Southern Hemisphere side sans SA. Think we might actually win the backrow battle but too much class out wide for us

Looks like Fifita's up to 72.
For the first time ever, I changed my captain from my standard choice and actually picked my highest scoring player. It's a miracle!

You know while I always wanted to put the C on Fifita I read an article on Renegades about Captaincy choices and they said Fifita wasn't a very good choice. I thought about changing it then I was like "What are they on about they're fools Fifi will go big" and so he did. Out of all the players I could of picked I made the right choice for once.
Doesn't make up for picking Bodene over Ryan James but it's a start.

I read the page but not the articles very often. I would suspect they did put up a decent argument for not Captaining him though. Dogs pack/post Origin etc?

Yeah, similar story here. Read a bunch of things saying not to choose him (or any Origin player) as captain.
He played like 20 minutes of Origin, I figured he'd be fired up, not worn out. For once a "trust your gut" that worked out.

Well actually on review of what they said they just said "Don't captain him hoping for a try" based on his average of 50 against the Dogs. He ultimately got a 6/10 captaincy rating, the same rating they gave Surgess.
They were saying though Graham was a safer choice but I figured Fifita's low minutes in Origin would fire him up like zorasdomain also thought he would and give me a little POD choice of captain since most would probably go Graham. Anybody who went Surgess is laughing though

Allow me to explain to those who weren't around
2014
Brisbane v Warriors in Brisbane
Broncos travelling like busted's
Warriors at the height of their standard mid season run
Honeysett with an ice cool 1K on the Warriors straight out (?)
Warriors all over the Broncs till deep in the second half
Enter Dale "Dream Destroyer" Copley who had done fuckall for 3/4 of the game
Carves up for a brace (was it Hurrell marking him?)
Copley posts his biggest ever Fantasy score of 60 odd
Broncs win by 6
You hedged but didn't you or had a big win somewhere else that weekend from memory?

Oh ok. Yeah with Surgess I had the C on him and VC on BHunt for a loophole just before 1st lockout in both comps. Swapped them over with 5 minutes to spare thinking Bhunt would carve up against the Warriors. Was that confident with Bhunt I didn't even bother setting a loophole with the VC on a Friday night player! Ahh well, have had my fair share of luck this year as well.

Glad to be a part of history. You know I still don't actually know what he scored but I know it was bloody high and was enough to send him straight to the 5th best scorer in Fantasy after one game.
I will avoid every review show and article because seeing the number will kill me and I've tried ignoring all the posts around the time of the game. You know that Simpsons episode where Homer collapses after Lisa rips a cheque from Mr Burns in half and he has a heart attack. That'll be me if I see his score.
Actually it'll be like the time I had a feeling on James Graham First Try but decided against it. He ended up scoring the first try and I would of pocketed $200 from a $5 bet if I'd put it on. It still haunts me and now so will Bodene over James haunt me until the end of the year.
