Rumours getting stronger that Wade Graham will slot into Cordners spot in the NSW Blues squad. Makes sense. Good news for Frizell and Cartwright owners also.

Mainly on Twitter. It is not 100% confirmed as like I said it is just a rumour however there is a good case for it.

Dont know if mentioned already but Mitchell and Liu both apparently syndesmosis. They're normally about four weeks aren't they?

Fair enough.

I'll call BS on the rumours. There were no rumours before Des Hasler said anything about Graham, now all of a sudden he is in the team.

Hope he makes it though, one of my favs.

That's the thing isn't it, it is just a rumour at this stage. Doesn't really mean much if anything at all. He does however play with Maloney week in week out at club level so would have a good combination there already, not to mention he has been playing with Gal and Fifita for a few years now so there is that. Anyway as a QLD fan it doesn't really bother me who they select between Frizell, Cartwright and Graham. Would be somewhat strange for them to select Graham over two blokes who were named in the extended squad for game 1 however, so there is points for and against the rumour...

I might be wrong but didn't Bird also call for Roberts to be named for the NSW squad last year when he was still at the Titans? Then again he was in red hot form last year compared to this year.

Was thinking the exact same thing.

You'd think Friz would be the man considering he was 18th man in game 1.

What about tedesco? He might feature in game 2 as well? Not sure about dugans recovery time. But moylan vs ted is a much closer battle to pick apart.

Might have to consider this too. Will probably shift barba there for the time being. And meanwhile pray that jdb gets a 15 start. Will need to wait on the Mitchell news now...

They already confirmed that he won't be playing next week even though the injury isn't as serious as first thought.
