State of Origin Game 3
Don't tell me the Blues can't fill a stadium for a dead rubber.

Moylan to start at 6
Personally, I think in attack he will be great.
Defensively, he will get destroyed and it may cost NSW the game.

Really? You thin kof all the guys that come from Fullback to make the switch to 5/8th and how long they take to settle. Lockyer is a prime example. Some never stick - Barba.
I was of the opinion that Moylan had never played 6? And they're going to blood him at SoO level?
I like the bloke - he seems the head-up, roll-up-your-sleeves sort of player that doesn't get the attention of someone like Tedesco, but ends up being the most important guy on the field after a couple of years.
He did a more than passable job in the first two, but to throw him under the bus like this is just strange. I wonder if they honestly think they're putting him in there for future development, or they just don't want to destroy one of their "real" prospects, and figure fucking him over is the lesser evil than blooding Austin or similar, whilst they wait for Reynolds to get fit.
Anyway - like I said, I like the bloke, and I hope he has a MotM performance in a (just) losing team.

Re: State of Origin Game 3
Theres something missing in the build up for a dead rubber. Care factor is at an all time low. Plenty of tickets available (as expected in NSW).

All dead rubber matches should be moved to Melbourne or other states.

He would have played a lot of 6 coming into first grade.
The way he attacks he seems very well suited to 6. Its just the defence that, with his very slight frame, he will struggle with IMO.

Can't help but think Queensland are going to pump NSW by 30 or 40 points.
I am excited about the future of origin though as some of the new kids on the block start to come through.

Now officially 20:10 our time. That means 20:20.Welshy wrote:What time is kick off lads?
Why they can't start at the advertised start time of 20:00 beats me.
And do a frizz dance for me Welshy. Backed him to be first try scorer.

Re: State of Origin Game 3
9-1 penalties. What rubbish. Look forward to the even ups in the second half.
