2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 45

Im thinking of doing something slightly different now, JWH and Mitchell > Fifita and JBird (risky but obviously hoping for a big finals run in)

Will give me a back line of

Leilua, JBird, Guth, Hurrell
Munster, Aitken, Barba, NPR, NPR

But leaves me 80k to upgrade one of Whitehead/Taylor next week to round things off

Not sure who to bring in out of smith or teddy. I am leaning towards teddy just so I can get Mitchell out of my team. If I get teddy I will get smith next week when he is likely to be a bit cheaper and less likely to get an early rest against the Cowboys.

I still have Norman on the bench but will wait until confirmation of his punishment before trading him out. I figure I should be able to hold him for a few weeks as I also have Gutherson on the bench who should score well in the halves while Norman is out.

Looking at that Tigers pack, looks like Taylor is going to be playing 80 at lock now and reverting back to that tackling machine, should go 50+ most weeks pretty easily

I missed the eels game. Anyone tell me why Gordon scored so well?

Plan was to trade him to munster but he outscored him.

Busting tackles, looked like breaking the line constantly, always involved, received the ball a lot in attack without Norman was a good all-round game from Flash

Seeing we are talking tacos, why can't you have both?

Guth has been going solid but I think now is the week to trade him for me. Fives me enough cash to do my final 2 planned trades over the coming weeks. Matterson to JT and ET/JTurbo to Gal

Maybe. He's only played 80 minutes once since joining the Tigers and while he doesn't really need that to score well there's nothing on current evidence to suggest he will. I'll say this though I sold ET last week so I'd say a 55+ score is definitely on the agenda for this week

So anyone have thoughts on bringing in JBird instead of the now cursed Teddy and BMoz??

I've looked at Bird a few times. I feel he doesn't get enough ball really, but is a gun and has the ability to rack up a good score.

Im basically banking on a big end of season for the Sharks obviously.
Risky i know but then allows me to turn Whithead or ET into Merrin next week.

So basically would you prefer:

Fifita, Teddy/BMoz (for JWH and Mitchell) or,
Fifita, Bird, Merrin (for JWH, Mitchell and Whitehead/ET)

As a Taylor owner I hope so, but can easily see Farah coming on for Halatau after 20 then Halatau replacing Taylor after 65/70.
