My team looks so good on paper but just seem to be in a huge slump. 923 this week is bang average.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 46
I finished with 877 for the round. Seeing as how everyone got 1000 that's not really a good score to be had. Rein, Gallen, Cartwright, Teddy and CLaw you punks let me down. Also with Bodene out and 4 trades left I copped a Paulo AE of 18.
Don't know what to do now really. Can go CLaw to Aitken in one move but I could also get Croker in by trading out one of my AE risks but that would mean two trades. Croker's one of my favourite players but Aitken saves an extra trade. Do I go the player I want or the player that will make most logical sense?

Johnny I'm a massive Croker fanboy (and have him myself) but you might want to consider the run home. After Souths this week we play Sharks and then the Storm. I know Aitken has a tough run as well but doesn't he get a lot of points from tackling? I dunno, he could go well but thought it was worth warning you.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 46
Hmmmm that is an interesting point to consider. I think you'll do a number on Souths because well even if you play bad the Souths probably won't be much better but you never know. Sharks well they're not really a Fantasy neutralizing team like the Storm are. I mean Dale Copley got his best score of the year against the Sharks and he's a left centre like Croker. Aitken though is a lot more consistent. Seems to bust a lot of tackles even when his team's crap and relies less on attacking stats where Croker has benefited from a lot of tries lately.
Oh I don't know I just want an excuse to put one of my favourite players in that I've never had before. Johnson, James Graham, Teddy and Maloney have all been in my team over the years. Heck even this year I finally had a reasonable excuse to put my personal favourite the Black Widow in my team. I've just never found an excuse to put Croker in. Last year it was Soliola, Bird and Aitken set and forget. Year before he just wasn't a priority with problems elsewhere.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 46
Two options this week...
Improve my 17 by going ET to Gallen/JDB
or
Improve my depth by going Latrell to Milford
(Before you laugh at the latter suggestion, Milford is a big POD now in the top 50 and the only sub-$345k guy capable of knocking out an 80+ on a good week. Would be tossing up between him and ET for 17th man depending on bravery or opposition. I could also do without Latrell hanging around as an AE on the wing.)
Thoughts?

It has to be Milford, Latrell is unbelievably unstable as you know.

I guess so. Here's another question. Selling Latrell leaves me with $345k and DPPs give me the option to buy in any position except hooker. The player doesn't have to be in my 17, but could be an option. Can anyone see anyone better than Milford at that price?

Rapana just out of range. Looked at Barnett and Taia, but think I prefer Milf.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 46
We did this a couple of months ago, but wonder how it's changed...
How many of your original squad are you looking like keeping for the whole season? Nine for me.
Smith
Surgess, Graham
Whitehead (Benry)
SJ
BJ (Gutherson)
(Feeney)

Milf is definitely the best option for that price range. Barnett is out for at-least two matches due to suspension anyway

Thumping my chest Jarryd Hayne style after that Eliminator win. Won all my H2Hs this week despite not cracking the 1k.
Honeysett going down twice (double the bath) to the KFPs in seperate leagues, then again he is used to losing to QLDers
