Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread Part 3
I thought Morts mostly played off the bench as a more impact type hooker. Can't say I watched too many titans games in the last 2 years. But Milchy & SI you may have convinced me!

Chucked together a temporary league hoping for the digital pass, welcome to join as well. (LEAGUE INVITATION CODE: 297MNWEZ "FreeDigitalPassWOOOO")
Hope you're all doing well and good luck for the year.
In There is a Leagues Code thread you can chuck it in as well which might fill it quicker s they won't get lost in there.

Can't tell if I'm just being biased but I was leaning towards Macca.
Underpriced for a bloke of his fantasy calibre...plus I think he's in for a big season.

Cam is the complete package, but deadset, you can get lost in Morts eyes

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread Part 3
back again for another year, i haven't spent a great deal of time thinking about fantasy this off-season, just keeping my eyes on what's going on around the clubs and of course forays into this thread, thus at the moment my team is a greater deal of 'throw shit at a wall and see what's still sticking in a month's time' than usual:
Smith, King
McGuire, Burgess, Masoe, Tetevano
Surgess, ET, S-Mat, Hess, Lane, Stimson
Norman, Johnson, Nona, Hingano
T-Trbo, Hurrell, Idris, Scott
Holmes, RTS, Hayne, Ponga, Jennings
pretty stock-standard with a side of awful if i do say so myself, but once we get some footy i can (hopefully) tidy things up a bit.
also, being one of those without the benefit of Foxtel, anyone wanting into a league, feel free to join mine - EFW79XYA

Back end of 2015 he moved to Lock most games from memory, did he do that last year?

I guess the important question for McCullough is how has he been training.
Does it look like the house is coming down?

Mort's is undoubtedly a good looking specimen SI.
But Cam has accountant-esque good looks, which is unquestionably more highly regarded around these parts mate

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread Part 3
But more seriously on McCullough - his minutes improved after origin last year, where he got up to a fantasy average of 51.
His improved minutes didn't come at the expense of Kodi Nikorima.
Still down on 2015's 55 avg but better than the 45 he is priced at.
But if you discount his early 2016 stuff then he is certainly value

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread Part 3
Every year it looks tempting to save cash and get a cheap hooker.
But Cam always produces the goods, and the difference between 50 and 60 is a big one.
Unless you can predict something like 2016's Jake Friend who started the year going massive, then the value of safe captaincy Smith offers is too tempting.
As a second hooker option plenty of the 2nd tier guys could have potential

With no Corey Parker I'd say Macca's tackle count will be very high

If they can take advantage of the departure of Proctor/Tamou+Hannant.
Too early to commit at this point, but feels like Felise more likely to be an option at this stage
