Re: Ultimate Footy
Apologies to whoever I'm facing in L3 (The Wombles?). After Goodwin's hattrick last night, Joel Thompson has two tries in 20 minutes for the Dragons...

Giving Beast a hiding in L2
30 point league with 2 less players, even with Idris's 10 stinking it up.
And with Tyrone Roberts starting hooker I played him over Widdop and his 69 points.
Beast did leave Bryson Goodwin's 57 as an AE too

Re: Ultimate Footy
Hell of a matchup between me and @Archer
6 points in it with 6 to play and 5 to play...
my WFB against his second rowers, slight advantage to Arch I reckon

Re: Ultimate Footy
Is scoring different this year, seems a lot of higher scores from mediocre games from players. Burgess 48 comes to mind

Yeah I do. Mine aren't scoring enough.

And here I thought with French, Mata'Utia Gagai, Luke and J. Trbojevic vs 100 points + Fusitu'a.... I thought I had it in the bag pretty much. Then Fusitu'a scores 46 points in 1 half.

Even more so when that will be his highest score of the season.

1 try scorer this week. Relegation favourite.

Week 1 doesn't mean a thing. Good example of this is when I picked up Cleary mid way through the year to spearhead my campaign to Minor Premiership and Grand Final winner.
As long as you win more games then you lose then you should be in the mix come the pointy end of the season.

The difference is I have nothing to prove. I am the reigning Minor Premiership and Grand Final winner who has appeared in two straight Grand Finals. As long as I make the top 4 finals I'll be pleased.

Yeah well done mate, we both had some surprising under-performers, especially in the 2RF.Welshy wrote:Down to updates between me and @Archer 522 for me against 505 for Arch! Great matchup

Just taking a look at our league, looks pretty close if Rd1 is anything to go by. Unluckiest team has to be User Name, loses his matchup with the third highest score in the league.

Let down by Chambers 14 and having to play Cook for 19 with Peats out. Still some huge scorers to come.
Hayne, TTurbo, Cleary, Frizell and Tariq. Maybe I should just be promoted right now
How'd that work out for you MS?
or were you talking about my team and warming up my seat for promotion?

Re: Ultimate Footy
so how did other league scores go?
we had 2 x 600+ scores, then day light to an avg of about 480ish.
Is ultimate a much tougher scorer (noting I nearly scored better than my fantasy team)

There are slight differences in scoring between Fantasy and Ultimate however anything over 600 is a very good score. 650+ is like an 1000+ equivalent Fantasy score (very rare). Not exactly sure who has the highest score on this forum however I personally have scored 670-680 in 2016 and 2015. I think it was Welshy who scored in that ball park also last year.
