I was entertained by reading the Sironen debate from last night. Lol

The thing is... Currently there aren't many other low priced 2nd rowers available. TLT might change that, but until then Sironen has earned a Reserve spot on my team. At the end of the 2015 season he was averaging 40+ when playing 80mins. Last season he didn't have much game time and averaged 30+ in the 80 Min games he did get.
If the said improvement of his attitude will get him back to his 40+ form, he will definitely be a good fantasy buy.

Don't know about the streaming but abc radio just said Canterbury are playing Melb in Hobart shortly,

I am honestly surprised that tv networks like nine and foxtel do not make any attempts to buy televised rights to the NRL trials. I am sure they could get trial games pretty cheap and send out a skeleton camera crew. I read an article that said the Tigers v Sharks trial in 2016 had 40,000 people tune in, no idea what the numbers were in the Tigers v Cowboys last night. But I sure as hell would tune in for all these trials and I am confident there would be a market there to support it. My biggest surprise is that the networks would miss any opportunity to make money. There must be something I am missing.

Its an interesting one. Im not sure either. I feel like the clubs would be against it though. If the big networks paid money to telecast the trials then there would be an expectation that the clubs make it worthwhile. As it stands coaches can rest players, put the second squad on at half time/etc. It may be detrimental to the actual product showing trials that are garbage football. (Ie not us tragics looking for fantasy pointers)

I think all trials should be live streamed though.

I know hes not a good reporter but the Lurker is claiming that Lolohea is likely to be left out of round one due to poor attitude on and of the field since being told hes not allowed to leave the club

As a sidenote i spoke to the guys who did the bronx vs sharks trial stream. It was telstras fuck up that meant the stream didnt work for like half an hour. Lol
