Maybe I need to pop out another to get things happening again.

my tv broke wrote:what is everyone planning to do with the last few FRF/2RF if no bolters present themselves? Obviously most of us have guys like Hoare and Stimson pencilled in. Hoare will likely be in the 17 but those 5th and 6th 2rf spots are looking mighty difficult to fill on the cheap.
Anyone willing to take a punt on Easy E @ 151k if he starts? From what I've heard, Sims will come off the bench to start the year and Easy E has the front running to start at prop. Though the problem I see is he may only start for a couple of rounds.
I could be tempted by Easy E after watching the trial last week. What would you expect? 30 average maybe? If he is named to start Round 1 is the spot his to lose or is there someone coming back from injury?

I am hoping Eisenhuth gets a run for the Tigers. Been talked up ion a couple of places (doesn't mean much but I'm hopeful)
But really just waiting for a nweke or 2 before finalising bench/NPR composition.

Easy E's PPM last year iirc was quite good. He always only got 20 minutes but normally busted out a 23-30 I think. If he can get some more minutes, he could make a little cash.

Just Sims I suppose. I don't see him coming off the bench the whole year. I'd say Bennett would eventually look at a Blair/Sims starting FR in time.

He only scored above 20 twice in 8 games, but then he had very little mins most games. he usually played 45-50 mins a game in q cup, a couple of times as many as 60. it seemed like bennett was preparing him for this season (or at least that is a nice way to look at it). everything I've heard is that he's been oen of the more impressive forwards in pre season, even back in december. (training the house down cliche)
you would hope he can score close to 30. anything above would be expecting too much. he may well be a better option than Hoare though as Hoares mins may be much more limited. to make 100k he'd have to avg around 27.

I must have only remembered those games above 20 on purpose as he was a cashout for me last year that didn't quite work haha. I think some of those games, he was lucky to get more than 15-16 minutes. Could be worth a punt though.

Ok..so this is version 30167 of my team. Happy with the forward pack but need a couple of things to come off for all of this to work :-(
First of all team is:
C.Smith(C) King
J.Graham(V) D.Saifiti, J.Wallace (R), Gurgess (R)
Surgess, J.McGuire, ET , KBrom (R). SMat (R), Stimson
Norman, Lamb, Field, Fogerty
J.Idris,B.Kelly,C.Scott, Olive
Hayne,RTS,Slater ,Phythian,R.Jennings
I know there is a fair amount of risk around Slater not breaking and the possibility that Kelly,Scott and Olive don't make the field RD1 but I am not worrying to much about that it until TLT.
Storm pack is confusing the hell out of me. Who has the best shot out of Finucane / KBrom for the 13 jersey long term. Finucane named on the bench for this weeks trial match, is this due to injury ?
Also, is anyone backing Jordan McLean & or Felise Kaufusi to get extra minutes this year. Does Stimson have big wraps, he is in allot of teams I have seen posted on this board.
Thanks in advance guys..I believe its almost party time Cool
That is almost a carbon copy of my draft team atm, see players I have marked in bold...
of course it will change around a bit on TLT, but most of the guns are the same
you are on the right track, just a few tweeks

I was going to ask if it was worth running with a 2nd gun HOK just for the fact there's just about jack all when it comes to standout money makers in the FRF/2RF. Current team has Hoare, Arrow and Stimson as the best players resembling 'cash cows' with Sione and Wallace as the mid-rangers. Arrow looks like a no go but not like anybody else is a clear better choice.
Running with a cheapie at HOK allows me to keep my 2RF stacked instead of having to rely on a mid-ranger but more screwed I guess if 2nd HOK fails to make cash. Decisions, decisions

I'm still sticking with a second quality hooker at this stage going on the theory that if they don't make cash (likely), they will at least be busting out some 50s and Macca, Peats, McInnes etc probably won't lose much cash either.
Cash looks to be made in the centres, WFB and 2RF at this stage IMHO.
