What did I miss with DSaifiti on the weekend, was he ordinary?

No problem with Daifiti, more so Gurgess looking to be performing even better for $40k cheaper (in my opinion) which allows me to upgrade Peats to McInnes.

I honestly don't see D Saifiti having massive upside.

He had a big debut year but he's already averaging 44 minutes and I don't see a big increase in minutes.
So if he is to provide value he needs to do more in his time on the field. Certainly a possibility as he's now got a bit more NRL experience behind him, but for his price I think there are better options

I know Bozo Fulton loves Sirronen, he wanted him there a few years back when he was in favour at the Tigers and Bozo still runs Manly so expect big minutes

I would think Kennedy, Lane and Taupau are all chances at taking Winterstein's spot.

Its really hard to get a reading on where these guys stand. Lane seems well down the order, but Kennedy is hanging around. Taupau seems like the biggest threat when Lussick comes back from injury.

Pretty sure Winterstein will start in rnd 1 and if he holds the spot then should make a bit of cash, but with Kennedy on the bench, what minutes will Winterstein actually get? 50? 60? Manly have 5 home games out of their first 7 so if they can jag a few wins early it should prevent big re-shuffles in their team.

There's not even much mention of Winterstein on the manly forums. They are all pumped about how Sironen went in the trial..

Wasn't Sironen horrible (fantasy wise) the past few years, even as an 80 minute player?

I'm seriously thinking about swapping him for JWH.

No, he's been horrible NRL-wise the past few years.

Fantasy wise, as an 80 minute backrower he is good for an average of about 35.
Not bad given his priced average of a bit over 25

He was averaging 40+ per 80 min game at the back end of 2015

Hodgson is 12k cheaper then McInnes. Am I missing something?

Anyone think that big Shannon Boyd could greatly improve on his average this season?

Hodgson had a great year last year. Lots of attacking stats and big minutes. So there is not a lot of room for him to grow.

McInnes had a lot of games where he only got around 40 minutes of game time.
He is expected to get the majority of game time at hooker for the Dragons, and when playing 65-80 minutes his average goes up a lot.
    Therefore, more value than Hodgson

I agree with D Saifiti not having a massive upside, but I like his job-security.
I'll be playing him alongside Graham and Gurgess and a npr in my FRF

If a better option comes along, it will be easier to downgrade only using 1 trade because he is a bit more expensive

I'm so close to running Gurgess and Boyd as my starting props, both play very similar game styles
