Round 13 Trades
Trent Merrin
Looks to be back in form and carting the ball strong with his trademark late offloads.
Seems to be a 2nd half of the season type player, so hoping he can continue to lift and put out some big scores.
Potential to play more minutes with Panthers injuries, has only one bye game left and a low BE makes him the perfect time to bring in.
J Taumalolo
Need a big round with all the drama and players dropping out .
A big round requires a big player, was going to wait until next week but need the points.
He is a tackle break monster and in good form with good byes, not more to say

Round 13 results
Nothing to see here, results say it all really......
Trade review
2 'mid' rangers out for 2 keepers, both scored over 60 points and increased in price with only have one bye each remaining.
Can't complain too much here.
H2H
Congrats Winning Poms, no contest here
Injuries
Nikorima injured but will be out of the team this week so nothing to see here
Form
Bunch of cash outs who I were hoping to play didn't, Nikorima didn't play.
After the way the round was going decided to write it off and bring in 2 keepers and call it a day. Not my year so might as well get a good 17 together.
After having Friend in my plans all year and not bringing him in it cuts a bit, Not having some popular players who are killing it also hurts.
That is the gamble with POD and all came to a head this bye round.
Anyways solid 17 for this week so hope the stars align for a decent score.

Had better weeks to be honest, probably lowest score I can remember in recent years.
Probably the perfect storm with some missing players, popular players going large all in the same week. Can't win sometimes
Not making it easy for myself for a big comeback that is for sure, makes the graph look exciting at least haha
Anyways hope to put out a half decent team this week so we wil lsee

You'll have a strong team this week if you bring in a couple good halves. Smashing those trades though

Yep, just noticed Booze has him, ballsy as fuck. If Cook is on the outer could prove a masterstroke.

Round 14 trades $0 exactly left in kitty
Cameron Munster
Has great byes ,DPP and capable of a big score.
Niko while may secure a half spot isn't a keeper so might as well go this week
Daly Cherry Evans
Cut price keeper (great $ per point) who is a pretty consistent scorer and more than capable of a big score on his day.
Has decent byes which balances my team and low ownership making him a POD
With Manly in decent form and a lowish BE it is definitely the time to bring him in

Think my team is pretty much set now, trades are a worry but just got to ride it home now..
Munster and Walker are my halves combo = low floor but high ceiling.. Gambling big on a couple big runs haha

I love how you managed to combine both master stoke and balls in the same line.....Genius
I brought him instead of Friend, so hope he repays the favour (but had a gut feeling a couple weeks ago that Farah was becoming favoured (ie minutes)
It's up to you now Robbie

Thanks mate, been setting this up for a while picking them up before they jumped in price.
Love me a bargain haha
Though it means I have taken in a hit in quantity so not running a full squad = byes hurt a bit

Come on Booze, everyone has had shitty rounds and bad luck, some more then most. This game is just like poker. A lot of luck involved. The most skilled obv rank higher, but to get in the top 100 is definitely luck on the back of skill. No one can plan for an injury, or bennet dropping kodi during a bye weekend (fuck u bennet), or graham getting injured, or brown missing a crucial bye period, or etc etc and on and on.
Just ride it out till the end of the year. If you have trades left, just go for the lowest owned, highest ceiling players and hope you get lucky. I would be stacking my reserves with wingers and halves, and hoping to get lucky. And if things dont turn around over the next 4 weeks for me, its exactly what I will be doing.

Yeah mate, once you get to a reasonably high level of knowing how to play this game it seems to me it is 50% skill 50% luck. Best to remember that, and that at the end of the day its just a game!! It would be a shame if you didn't finish out the season!

I'm probably in the minority here but if he quit because his team scored so low, he probably was taking the game too serious and time away will do him the world of good for his health

Suck it up Booze
tough to follow up the monster year you had last year, just have to keep plugging away
on a personal note i have been tucked up 76 points on the McCullough debacle, made countless shit trades and I'm doing appalingly in the overall rankings (5000+)
I have never finished outside 1200, but you just carry on
