I think I'll drop Mannering, move Carty and bring in SJ and bank the 60 odd K. FOr some reason I feel a little better having at least 60K in the bank as opposed to 1K. That way if someone like Winterstein or one of these 180-200K forwards get going this week, they will be easy to bring in next week in a single trade.

Pretty sure i am settled on my team. any glaring issues you can see other than Brailey.
Am i better of with elgy in my 17 than brailey ?

    Smith / Brailey
    McGuire / D.Saifiti / Kaufusi / Leota
    JDB / Surgess / ET / S.Mat / Sironen / Yates
    Taylor / Lamb ; Elgey / Hingano
    Walker / Idris / Talakai / Kelly
    Hayne / RTS / Phythian / Holmes / Cotric

    $86K left to play with.
I was thinking of upgrading McGuire to Graham but not sure, i like having the extra money if Brailey fails and i can upgrade to Ballen later on.

Some interesting stuff in late mail

Michael Maguire has indicated Robbie Farah and Damien Cook could both be on the park at the same time, either sharing the hooking duties or with Cook playing a roving role in the middle.

Kenny Bromwich will start, but Craig Bellamy is planning to send all 115 kilos and 200 centimetres of Asofa-Solomona down Mbye’s left edge defensive corridor throughout the night.

Nu Brown may yet start in place of rookie Jayden Brailey to keep the youngster out of what looms as a bruising opening 20 minutes

HOK: I don't see any upside to Lichaa. He won't regress in scoring but he isn't at the heights of C. Smith and doesn't have the potential to be like McInnes, however that said he is a decent pick up, however he is a fine pick.

FRF: I am not a fan of Wallace as I don't think he is going ot play any more minutes than 40 minutes. So I don't think he improves all that much. If he gets 60 minutes he is a great pick up but that is a big if.

2RF: All strong picks or cows.

HLF: Again looks like really strong picks across the board.

CTR: 4 Cheapie options are fine.

WFB: Coote is an out there pick. He had a poor year last year so definitely could go back to scoring 40s. The worst thing to say about him is he is a different pick to what many other people are choosing and that doesn't mean he is bad.

    Cheers for the feedback.

Lichaa will play 80 mins and consistently score around 50, I'm looking for him to improve his attacking game to get a slight boost.

Alternative to Wallace? 310k or less.

Coote is a risk because last year he was terrible, but with Ponga breathing down his neck, I'm hoping he will step up to his best this year.

It most definitely could be one, but actually it sounds like it may be their bandwidth with everyone doing last minute run throughs of their teams.

That makes sense. With prices changing after Round 1 it is always safer to have a little than to not.

Cash Cow. He should make enough money and then hopefully grab a temporary under performing half.

If I don't need it that's fine, but it's just knowing some money is there. A bit of security.

It's scary, but probably better if he plays the last 60.

    HOK: Common pair

FRF: Only issue here would be Leota. he was getting something like 16 minute average last year and scored around 14 points. Just with the Panthers pack he is 4th or 5th in their prop rotation and unlikely to get more than 20 minutes a game. I would rather Yates here and then Stone in 2RF to cover yourself if one goes big and the other doesn't.

2RF/HLF/CTR/WFB: No bad picks at all. Nothing that would warrant a change. The only out there pick is Ash Taylor and with Roberts playing HOK primarily to start the season he could have a huge season start.

Cheers for that, if anything it improves Braileys scoring chances imo if he gets the remaining 60 min. People will still be shitty he isn't starting though.
