Finally stuck with Holmes (hope it works out for Round 2) and gone with Pritchard. I am intrigued with the indefinite concussion thing. De Gois did not play in the nines or the trials and had several bad concussions not only at the end of last year but also 2015. Could be that he is not playing for quite some time.
Apart from that, I am confident that Munster will be at fullback and Jacks has a good chance of making some Moolah.
HOK Smith / Pritchard
FRF Brown / Daifiti / Perrett / Iapalli
2RF De Belin / Surgess / Moeroa / Sironen / Faufusi / Yates
HLF Norman / Cronk / Jacks / Field
CTR Dawker / Sata'uita / Idris / Kelly
WFB Holmes / Ruivasa-Sheck / Hayne / Phythian / Cotric

Faufusi and Krom do nothing for me. I understand why so many people have them, but they need to improve on last year. Obvs that may happen with no Tohu.
And no Proctor.

I posted earlier on Pritchard, DeGois should be back rd2, 3 at the latest he is out for concussions.
I would look at moving SMat to 2ndrow and picking up Talakai or Moga in centrs and replacing one of Perrett/Papalli/Yates. I think Talakai out scores all of those guys.
Otherwise its a pretty nice side

HOK: Pritchard has some risks with de Gois returning next week. However Arthur wants an 80 minute hooker and this is Pritchards chance.
FRF: Haven't heard much talk on Brown, however if it works then that is good. (I really have no say on him.)
2RF: Looks all solid. Moeroa is a big investment, and has an injury that can flare up whenever. However he could pay off, just been burnt by him in the past.
HLF: No Elgey? Either way if Field and Jacks pay off it will be fine. I just think it may be worth upgrading Field if you can to Elgey until he gets a starting role.
CTR: Assuming the first is Walker? No problems with any of the picks.
WFB: Holmes is a risk, if he doesn't end up coming back. However it should be fine and it could pay off.
Overall: The team looks really solid.
Why do you think De Gois is returning next week? Any source?

Yeah - I'd say that Faufusi particularly is a no-brainer for a big bump in minutes (possibly more than double last years average)
Fortitude wrote:Is Smat in the centres a waste?
It seems most are running 4 rookie centres.
Moving Smat to bench in 2rf add another rookie centre.
Pros: frees up cash. Maybe more room for cash growth assuming you choose the right centres.
Cons. Risky as ferk.

News on him report he is ruled out because of a concussion. They don't have long turn arounds, but it could be possible he doesn't return and even if he does return from injury not make the 17 at all.

A big centre verses an unknown winger. I have gone Talakai on reveled potential.

In the games last year he got big minutes he was VERY average. In saying that, the price is worth the risk. Just not for me.

I do like Talakai over Suli. But is it worth the hit of McInnes to McCullough

Again the question, what makes you think De Gois is back in round 2 or 3. Is it speculation? or do you have something solid to go off.
With Talakai, I do not want him in my starting side
