Having trouble with Idris v Suli v Talakai.

I like that the centres get more base stats. Even at 60 mins.

What are people expecting from Talakai? That extra 40k is a concern.

Would be playing Kelly over Idris be prudent under these circumstances?

Scored 31 I think in his only game at centre last year. Played a bit of back-row before then so I guess he's a big strong running type centre who can hopefully put up some good points. I mean whether Idris or Naqaima he'll be running at a player who hasn't played in 2 years vs the worst defensive centre in the game in a team where the other centre was deliberately letting tries in. That's special from Big Kev

I'm gonna stick with idris in the 17. Might have greater impact off the bench anyway.

Yep Kelly is in the 17 this week.

I think I'm happy to carry JI. I know what to expect from him when he's fit.

It's really Talakai v Suli I'm struggling with. I guess it's the inconsistency of a centre + 40k v the extreme inconsistency of a winger.
Talakai looks good to average 30+ based on last years limited data. No idea about Suli.


The other consideration is whether Suli may be a better pick than Pythagoras or Cotric...

I've been tempted to make changes but I'm going to wait a week and see what happens. Will have more data to work off then.

That's what I'm doing. Can't tell you it's a great idea but Kelly guaranteed minutes and Idris could be anywhere between 60-25mins realistically.

Kelly has the advantage of being a goal kicker too.

Talakai (from what I saw last year) looks a comfortable first grade centre.
At the very least he's played first grade before and the coach wants him back there.

Suli is an unknown with big wraps on him. I couldn't even tell you what type of player he is.
Idris is playing off the bench and isn't guaranteed big minutes.

The extra 40k is worth the short term points but Idris looks to have the job security for certain.

I have the luxury of having all three so the only decision is who to play. For me, that's Talakai.
