I looked similar to ET after that hit when I read MTB's coding yesterday.

I missed the game last night but should us ET owners be worried about injury or low score or was the injury the reason for the low score?

Nah wasn't an injury that affected him. He played 61 straight minutes and by that time Tigers were leading 34-8 so he didn't have to do much tackling. It wasn't actually until he left the field that Souths evened up possession, scored two tries and the Tigers didn't score again. Hmmmm coincidence?

He'll get bigger tackle counts in more contested matches.

You'd think next week against the Panthers that ET should rack up the tackles.

Great post MS. We have to trust our research and our decisions, instead of panicking. We all know what Teddy can do on a good day, but we also know that there can be a downside with him too (e.g. low scores, injuries).

Me neither, and I normally start with him. I didn't scrimp though, Dugan on paper was the best value in that bracket. Not worried what Ted scores as if he declines I win, if he goes on a run I still win being a Tigers fan.

If I want Ted next week I can either use 2 trades next week (JBrom downgrade + upgrade on of RTS, Hayne or Semi) or do it in 1 trade if I downgrade one of those WFBs this week. I'm thinking I'll just wear the extra trade next week a) because there's a chance one of those WFBs gets injured and needs trading anyway and b) with GIs injury braidon burns probably comes into the frame as a better downgrade than anyone yet to play this week

    Hahahah

1.ET: He absolutely was given an early shower when the game was dusted with 20 mins to go. Probably feelin a bit sore this morning but he'll be fine.

    2. TEDDY: personally i think its madness to rip apart your squad to get him in. Youve already missed the 91. Hes a gun thats for sure but he wont score that every week. Some of the rabbits defense was terrible, Inglis was on one leg, and hymel hunt left the field early with concussion. They were basically down two backs from very early in the game.

White Lightning wrote:I got ET on the expectation of 70+ mins. Last year he averaged 63 mins & that was about the time he got a rest. You could argue that the Tigers had a big lead so he got an early shower but I don't think that is the case. Last year I picked up Macca from round 1 & stuck with him hoping for more mins but it didn't happen. Tedesco is a far superior fantasy asset than ET so I have no problems getting rid of ET.

Didn't ET also get an early shower because of the head knock he suffered earlier in the match? Full credit to him that he played the way he did for 60 min under the circumstances. I plan to hold onto him for now.

That's how I saw it Welshy. If anything, my opinion of ET was enhanced by his game last night.

To be fair - the low scores are usually only due to injury, so that is literally his only downside. Kicking myself I didn't bring him in - I was just short while I had Hingano, but I didn't make the connection that I could get him when I switched to Jacks.

I've only got 3 players playing today and they're all Titans. Love watching footy but it's always just a bit less exciting when there's nobody to keep an eye on in your team.

Readying myself to see how bad that decision not to bring JDB in was but hey seeing how this round is shaping up it's a week of disappointing gun forwards and a week for the backs.

A valid point WL. Luckily I only play VSDT, so I have an extra week to ponder the Teddy question.
