was 10k at start of the day
469 with 6 to play, how is everyone else travelling? Just trying to see how far I am behind as I had no teddy or jdb but had jbrom...
Was 5k odd before today & only had Hayne & Wallace & now ranked 33,505. Seven left tomorrow & currently 480/10.
Unlucky MS on the trades. I was 2k off going Gallen to JDB so stuck with Gallen.
I could be wrong but usually doesn't round 1 each year usually start off with low scores. There's always a couple of players going big but there's a few already that have gone big so far.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
What happened to proctor? I was catching up on the thread and missed his injury. He's pretty much the only guy that didn't fire for me in ultimate
Wish that was the case in fantasy - thanks idris, elegy, Hayne, Pearce, jwh. All scorers for me but hopefully some good updates for the roosters. JWH Looked far better than 32 surely???

An underwhelming 471/10 with captain Smith and no JDB/Ted/McInnis.
Mannering, Sione, Siro, SJ, Norman, Kelly, RTS to play. Need my halves to fire to catch up but it's a long season, think was in 15k place after first round last year but still came top 25.

486/13 so far, including Whare's 4. Probably won't crack 700. Missed all the big scorers and have a lot of scores around the 30s and 40s. Some decent showings from the NPRs so not a disaster yet.

Sorry if the question has been asked already.

Might as well blow my own trumpet a bit
615 now. Kelly, RTS, tturbo, smat and Lamb. 30pts each gets me 765 so anything more than that is success especially with 212k in the bank08:42:31

Do we think J-Brom out will affect Smith's score. Smith gets a lot of points feeding J-Brom with lba's, tba's & ta's. Smith & J-Brom work together & it is a combo they have developed over the years. Smith darts out of dummy half & hits J-Brom on the burst. None of the Storm props will provide Smith with the same points potential.

Just watched the roosters /titans less conference live for the first time.
Ryan njames is a bit of a character in the breaks. Despite the loss having a laugh and cracking jokes with the journos.
Makes it better having a guy in your team that you can really get behind. I'm still happy I took him over Fifi - even if it costs me in the long run. I hate that turd.

I don't mind using 5-6 trades early season to shift low scoring guns to better performing guns. I thought Surgess was his usual error prone self against Wests & pre round 1 talk of going without him due to this panned out. I'll be looking to upgrade him to JDB. This morning I was keen on getting Tedesco but JDB was awesome.

Yeah had a break between 20th and 30th mins so seems an odd rotation. He prob got an extra 15-20 due to proctor but at least you know he should get 50 mins and score 40+.

I know i'm a bit late with this but working in hospitality sucks for a footy fan -
a) fuck Mary, for scaring me off McInness with Field and then throwing him on for 10 minutes for shits and giggles, what was the point of naming him & where am i gunna find the extra 200k i need to upgrade Pritchard next week?
b) Walker's really going to have to pull his finger out tommorrow thanks to all these CTW/WFB cash cows hitting decent scores, i'm not sure having a pricey CTR is a luxury worth having,if he doesn't hit a big score he might be part of my solution to point a)
c) thanks Madge for pulling Gurgess out, I wouldn't have had Wallace otherwise and thank god I decided to Keep Elgey in my NPRs
384 from 7 +(C), can't complain about travelling at an average of 50+ per player but i've learnt from years of experience that during the fantasy season every sunday is Bloody Sunday for my team, i look forward to spending 4 hours tomorrow watching everything crumble down around me

I think his loss of attacking stats (which he might still get with some other players) should be offset by his increase in defensive workload having no Proctor, Tohu, Jommich. The rain and the speed of the game kept all tackle counts down, but he still made more than any other Storm player and only 2 shy of the game high, so it is not like his workload is slacking. But Melbourne played the smarter game in the wet and attacking stats were few also. When faced with the forward roster stretched this thin I still back Smith to take on more responsibility and post some huge big scores. Conditions were too terrible to judge on Friday, but I will not be worried until I see him post some despicable 40s in a dry track.

616/12 pretty happy with that so far. Elgey in the 17 is rubbish and won't happen again. Nothing of real concern yet, Peachey not ideal and Pearce I feel is due an upgrade but we'll see how it pans out

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
I'm 481/9 which is decent enough but has been saved only by de Belin, that beautiful man (who has updated to 92; Thompson 96).
7 of my remaining 8 are potential plodders so I'll probably see a big slip tomorrow.
