Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
Ive never really looked into jdb before. Does he usually get alot of tbs and offloads? Or was that because of how the match played out. He has alot of attacking stats in his score and am thinking barnett might be better for price and save the 120k to upgrade a cow to whitehead in a few weeks.
Also, i see a few people wanting to drop kbrom and jwh, i got both. Kbrom did about what was expected, and jwh got 31 without any attacking stats, surely once he gets rolling he is good for an offload and tb or 2 a game to get him into the 40s, which is what we were hoping for him

Looking at players that scored way above price and look set to continue:
Talakai, Moga, Kaufusi

He doesn't normally score a try(+linebreak(4)+5 tackles busts(15) in one run

I think any player who has a negative, or very low break even now, but will still hold there spot in the 17 three or four rounds from now(Jacks, Brailey, Moga, Suli, Cotric, Kelly, Yates are the first names off the top of my head).Fortitude wrote:So who does everyone consider the top three must have money makers after rd1

Surely Burns gets a gig if AJ is fullback
I personally think Walker is a better fullback option

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
The bloke that top scored in RND 1 has a pretty strong team, but no Smith or Tedesco. He may also be lacking a bit in the money making department in the forwards. He started with Afoa and may have gotten a bit lucky with Mannering injury (not sure how the warriors reshuffle will work). Seems he also took a punt on finucane which is a great pick after JBrom injury.
The bloke with second top score has Pritchard & Brailey at hooker, which could really hurt him.

Wasnt counting try and lb, was more focusing on tbs and offloads to see if they were normal, similar to fifita. Missed game so wasnt sure where the tbs were from

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
Barnett a better bet for the price mate I think, I know JDB had a shed load of attacking stats last game but that ain't the norm, JDB is a stock 45 tackles 100RM a game guy. Barnett is busy but I reckon he has the TB gene in him and will rack them up at a regular paceShowbags wrote:Ive never really looked into jdb before. Does he usually get alot of tbs and offloads? Last year he was similar to James Graham in that link role-would pass before the line a lot and so not getting as many TBs and offloads. Either way if those stats don't continue i think you want him with the potential for 80.
Does anyone have that link to Mary supposedly saying he could have played 80 if it was closer?

Its amazing what having the league setup properly does, Fanhub screwed us last year on that front
Looks like we are off to a good start

Finucane will be the main man in that forward pack until the troops come back (JBrom,Harris)

I got off Barnett an hour out with the whole Buhrer moving into the middle to defend thing in the trials. Ah well. Picked him up in Ultimate though.

The top three h2h leagues are all Fanatics, with L1 sitting at the top, then one of the Elite leagues second (can't tell which one because its cropped?), followed by L3

Cheers all, looks like my trades might be set for week
Jbrom to barnett via dpp
Phythian to suli (there will be another souths cheapie but suli can milk his 52 for a few weeks....besides souths looked horrible and wont bank on a winger scoring well)

I didn't think he would play more than 60 so was a risk...played 69 and went off with a head knock didn't he? Could be a good sign he plays 70 and the prop rotations loses 10SI wrote:

It is a glorious sight for a glorious site
