TL;DR - is it safe to play Suli/Cotric short to medium term?
This is how my CTR/WFB looked in Round 2.
CTR: Cotric (I backed him over Kelly and Suli, I was wrong), Sione, Idris, Kelly
WFB: Guth, RTS, Hayne, Suli, Burns
So not only will I have to play both of them , I'll probably have to choose a 4th reserve out of the rest of my backs because otherwise it's Elgey or Yates. Slater coming back has put a dent in things and I think I'll need to waste some trades to come up with a stop gap solution.

That's what's good for me.Welshy wrote:
Best case they shift Munster to CTR and keep Jacks and Slater returns to form. Win-Win
Like the rain around here for the last six months, I'll believe Billie is playing when I see it. Not convinced.

Leaning Jennings and Cotric on potential for attacking stats but Suli looks like he could bust some tackles if he gets moving. Need 1 from Kelly vs NQL or Idris vs CAN to fill the final centre spot. Tough choices but realistically being wrong shouldn't cost too much
Until Idris starts playing 80 mins I wouldn't be starting him in my 17. Bloke still looks lazy.

Mine were
CTR: Moga, Kelly, Idris, Talakai
WFB: RTS, Hayne, TTurbo, Cotric, Suli
So I am in a similar predicament.
My 4th reserve will come from Ese'ese/Yates/MCK/Elgey/Idris too which is definitely a pain.

Tough call. SJ has started better and looks great. Has the higher ceiling.
Cleary is going to have some bigger scores when the Panthers get involved in some arm wrestles-his KM's are just over 200 but that could double. He is also a POD and 20 something thousand cheaper. '
When I get stuc on 2 players, I tend to look at the long game and see which one suits my team better byes wise, just a thought.

So you are going to play Idris in your 17 while he is still playing from the bench are you? You reserves options must be severely depleted if that is the case.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 17
I think I'm gonna stick with Carty. I seriously think the injury could have been staged to take the attention away from his off field drama. If he plays, I think I stick, if not he goes.
No real trades sticking out for me at the moment. I'll hold Hayne, the only one is Talakai. Could possibly use my kitty to upgrade him to Hess in one trade, but I'm not sold on him either.
I think I'd be quite happy to play both Cotric and Suli this week. Both of their scores were fine for teams that got pumped. I think they'll bounce back along with their teams.

I've played both in the opening two rounds and I haven't done too badly. Early in the season it won't be a massive hit

I'm leaning towards him or Welch. I feel which ever I choose it'll be wrong choice.
Stuff it may just pick Brailey and be done with it

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 17
Time to dump Elgey? I dont see him scoring in the 30s consistantly for a while and if he does he will be a very slow burn for maybe 60-70k.
