I agree but assuming he'd be your 4th reserve you also want a good scoring option & if he's only going to score around 25-35 then that's not enough. Also that score of 31 was basically tackles. As I said he looks slimmer & that's good for mobility & more minutes but it's also not good for tb's, lb's & other attacking stats due to the loss of that extra size & power.

In my instance he would be an NPR cow with reserves of Macca, FKaufusi, Sironen and Lamb if I grabbed him as part of my double trade

    Elgey - Norman
Talakai - PKaufusi via SMat and FKaufusi

Ideally I want Talakai out for a prop/2RF (Hess) so I can move SMat to shore cheapo CTRS

Problem I have with getting Norman now for Elgey is it leaves me with a WFB of RTS Cotric Sulli while Hayne is out.

May need to fix WFB first and let Elgey make some cash because he will eventually

Elgey used to be a poor scorer before, but he just needs to make 100k more and his role is done. Might take a while but until he is ripe or gets injured I probably won't pull the trade on him. I need value from him.

I hate the fact that I need to consider him in my 17 this week though...

Elgey needs one big game where he scores a bunch of attacking points just to get a jump on his price rises

Yup, even missing less than 10 tackles a game would help him a bit.

Trade move I'm thinking of making this week to rid a dud and plug a hole/grab a cash cow.

I Papalii to Rennings via Faufusi to FRF and Sione to 2RF.

Means that 3/5 of my CTR/WFB spots will be occupied by cheapies but seems a better option than something like picking up Welch, hoping he scores good to ride a few price rises where he won't be a good R option anyway when he's benched the next week.

Problem with Thompson is Bunty, Bunty is the new fantasy Bodene if he continues playing 80! for much less $$$

By the way, I heard an interview with Bunty on the radio. he sounds like he is a really good kid. When asked what he does in his spare time to get away from League he said he goes home, does his chores, and looks after his brothers and sisters. Im assuming he still lives at home - he's still quite young right?

Anyway that's the sort of player the Warriors need. Enough of these pill popping plonkers! I hope they stick with Bunty (even though I don't have him in my team) as an 80 min man. The kid is going to go a long way if he sticks to his roots!

So if Hoare isn't gonna be ready, Tamou, Hannant, and now Scott all gone, SURELY there has to be some value in some Cow's FRFs/2RFs now. Even more so if Lolo doesn't win at the judiciary!

So whats the deal lads? When Lolo plays he goes to prop and takes Scotts minutes which means Hess takes Lolo's 2RF minutes?

Surely Hess is the go then?Or is there another piece to this puzzle!?

Not sure, if Taumololo is suspended for two games, and Lowe is named at 13 with Hess starting he will be in my team for ET quick smart. Presume Hoare and Fensom will come in and one will drop out when Lolo is back, but hoping Hess keeps the starting spot. All depends whether Lolo is suspended I guess because I only want Hess if he is starting.

Those that started with Hess have been somewhat lucky he got a try in limited minutes in first game, and then the Winterstein injury meant he came on early and got 70 minutes, jagging another try thanks to Moga being useless and lazy (that was a disgusting effort and basically let him get a try after clocking off thinking he has been held up). Fortune favours the brave I guess and maybe he gets a try most games because he is a beast.

I still think Green may keep him on the bench for impact long term despite the Matt Scott injury. Probably just means Taumololo becomes a must have this year and due to get 65-70 minutes this year.
