should start this for a bit of fun, pick 1 player (doesn't have to be in you squad) and predict who scores highest in each position each week

    HK - McInnes
    FR - Fifita
    2RF - Cordner
    HLF - Johnson
    CTR - BJ Leilua
    WFB - Tedesco

That was a marathon to catch up on all of todays dramas and pages.

After all that - I think I'm going to save trades and run the cows across the backline. French will be propping them up.

Carry the red dots of Papalii, Hayne, RTS and Idris.

I can wait the week till things settle down.

this week is giving me a damn headache with all the trade options.

Decided to just run at it and hope for the best.
    Talaki to Aubbs
    Idris to Hess.

    Squad for round
    Smith (Brailey)
    Wallace, JWH, (Faufusi) Yates
Gallen, KBrom, Hess, (ET, Siro) MCK
    SJ, Lamb, Elgey Jacks
    Aubbs, SMat, Kelly Moga
    Guths, Suli, Cotic, Hayne, RTS

$49k ITB, this is for KBrom to Whitehead round 5.
Might Also sell one of the cows round 4 so I can go Faufusi to JBrom in round 5 as well

4 reds isn't too shabby, puts you in good stead. Have seen some blokes who can potentially loophole this weekend, haha.

Alternatively, in the very unlikely scenario the previous team isn't correct:

    HK - (C)am
    FR - Graham
    2RF - Cordner
    HLF - SJ
    CTR - Linnet
    WFB - Rapa

Alright guys, I need some help.

I have 5 dead guys in my backs, with Phythian, Hayne and Talakai on the chopping blocks this week. I have some cash so my trade thoughts are:

    1. Hayne +Talakai OUT
    CWalker + Abbey/TRD IN

    OR

    2. Hayne + Phythian OUT
    Gutherson + Jennings/Abbey/TRD IN

I really want Walker as I had him in my starting team all pre-season but changed my mind at the last minute to go more forward heavy. The Walker trade would have to be paired with a 138k guy though, and also means trading out Talakai, who I'd probably rather keep for now as I'm sure my luck would mean that as soon as I get rid of him he'll be back in the team. It also leaves me with only $2k in the bank.

Gutherson seems like better value at over 100k cheaper than Walker, but is he a keeper?

And I'm not really sold on any of the cow options. I'd rather watch Abbey for a week and see what his role will be but with his limited number of weeks it would make it not worth it.

Alternatively, I could just get rid of Hayne and Phythian for 2 cows this week and sit on my money for another week. Though this would mean 4/5 of my playing WFB & CTRs would be cheapies.

    Any advice?

I'm sick of making trades on my backline i'll let my myself do it this week but after that.. NO MORE!

I'm keeping Pythian, last year I had Feeney all year so might as well keep tradition going.

I like the idea of Cody Walker in your side. Also with A-Rey in the side he scored alright I know he was boosted by a try but he looked the goods. I'm not sure whether to go for him or Teddy though in the long run

I like option 2 more. Although I think C. Walker scores better and more consistently than Gutherson. As I find Abbey and Roberts-Davis to have limited job security and could find themselves out of the squad before making any real cash. With that said, I don't think Gutherson is a keeper. I just like the pairing of Jennings and holding Talakai as a better way to hedge your bets.

I think Jacks plays this week off the bench. Ideally I want him to be starting with Munster in the centres. But anyway Jacks will be cover if Billy the kid cant make it through the game

Ha, thanks. You've reiterated all my thoughts entirely, so it's good to know I haven't just gone crazy from overthinking.
I think I would definitely rather Jennings than the 138k options due to their limited weeks (though I'm not sure why, as I don't trust Maguire in the slightest). But I know Walker is a better option.
Maybe I just go Phythian/Hayne to Jennings and hold the rest if nothing seems quite right?
