I thought that might be the case. Id be interested in how he went when he was playing for Souths and Broncos (like when he was making the odd Rep team). Coz he was lazier than Idris in his last season in the NRL.
Everything tells me it doesn't make sense to bring him in. But for some reason i have some blind hope that ricky will get the best out of him.
Ask yourself how many minutes you expect him to get. I'd say he might play well for us, but it will be very much an impact role. Could be completely wrong of course, but minutes are pretty slim in that pack even before his arrival. Of course this doesn't mean he couldn't score 40 points in 30min. I'm just saying its harder with less time.

Good news for Hingano owners like me... slow burn, but he's making some cash.
I'm just waiting for him to bag a try in the next couple rounds so the money flow increases

Is James Roberts out with knee injury or is this very fake news?

At this point in time he is still playing however he was hobbling a bit at training and his knee was heavily strapped. He could be a late withdrawal due to this however as it is the first game it gives you a great opportunity to replace him.

Damn watching Ponga highlight reel just makes me want to take a gamble on him. At least I can leave it until just before his game kicks off

    Hey Clack Bocks,

Just following up on this as this really affects my team where I'll have to make adjustments prior to tonight's kick-off if that's the case.

You're the only person I've seen say that Cartwright is out and I'm keen to know the reliability of this info.

    Cheers mate

So busy overseas right now, haven't got time to scratch my itchy nackers let alone read this forum or contemplate so many available cashies, hoping to gather my thoughts before kick-off.

In the meantime here is the late Carter Awards honour board. Mitch Pearce and Maloney tried hard this week but Michael Morgan gets the bickies

    Signing off until ????????

Only going to get worse with Tigers next month of footy. Raiders (A), Storm (H), Dragons (H), Cowboys (A). All have big good forward packs that will monster them.

So if he can get back to his Souths averages that would be nice

    Awesome work.

I'm not sure what Sauce CB has however a few people on Twitter this morning have posted the same thing

    Wackos Whispers‏ @WackosWhispers
Panthers Bryce Cartwright will be ruled out of #NRLPanthersRoosters due to ankle injury picked up last week

    Big Sports Breakfast‏ @BigSportsBrekky
@TrentMerrin says he doesn't think Bryce Cartwright will be back this w/e but not serious(injury) & he will be back soon rather than later

    Tom Sangster‏Verified account @TomSangsterSC
Big @SuperCoachNRL news from @jimmyhooper - Bryce Cartwright didn't train today, unlikely. @PenrithPanthers.

GTFO Carty! I wanted him to not play to make the decision easy.

Take a punt on Hess and bank the coin?

If Taylor plays less like Tony 'Handbrake' Williams, and more like Matt 'I love contact' Scott, the raiders will be laughing. However, I see he will still try and play the 130kg half back role, with passes before the line and 'fancy footwork'. So much potential to do well in a big pack though, a player like Taylor who takes the risk behind a pack that cant get epic go forward (2016 form not 2017) would make more than a 1.5ppm.

Note: I base all of this on gut feeling and a love of the Raiders

    From foxsports;

Late Mail: Jesse Bromwich (thumb) will have final say on whether he comes into the starting 17, with Tim Glasby to drop to the bench and Vincent Leuluai to make way if the Kiwi star returns early from injury.

Bellamy may also shake-up his spine throughout the contest if Jacks is included in the final line-up. With concern over Slater’s fitness, Cam Munster would move to the back as cover and Jacks would jump into the halves.

For Brisbane James Roberts (knee) will play with strapping, but Wayne Bennett is adamant his star centre is right to play. Matt Gillett (concussion) and Josh McGuire have both been on light training duties this week but are certain starters.
