I'm taking that same gamble. I think the Eels will struggle this week, especially without Norman to lead them around the park.

It's usually in situations like these that the guys who are forced to play NPRs get a decent score and the people who trade out for injuries replacement player goes shit

what would be awesome is if Jacks fills in at hooker to give smith a rest

Munster said during the interview that he's trained all pre season at 5/8 so it won't be a difficult positional change from fullback during the game.
I'd say Jacks doesn't play many minutes unless there's a backline injury.

Seems wishful thinking to think Slater comes on for anyone but Jacks. Jacks might return later in the game though in the role Hampton played off the bench last year and bag another 10-15 points. Basically injuries mean I have to play Elgey this week, then pick one of Jacks or Yates...

I've decided to go Hayne > Jennings, Norman > Johnson. I don't trust dodgy hammies with halfbacks. Hammies don't heal in a week. He could strain it at training or carry it all year. Needs complete rest for a few weeks imo. I've had a few.

It's boom or bust. I'll give Kromwich one more week in this tight game and get Hess next week if he flunks again and Hess keeps up his scoring. That bench means more minutes for forwards and can only see Kromwich getting them.

I learned from last week and deviating from the number 1 fantasy rule, but he does have a c in his name, so it could be ok.
