I'll always have Parker's back. A model professional who never got in trouble & worked hard for the team. You never saw him make negative news like other players & every time I see that halo above his head I just bow to his godly presence.

My superpower is picking mid-rangers who string me along with only slightly sub par scores for a while tricking me into holding for longer than I should before the inevitable crash

after 3 rounds I'm glad I picked FKaufusi, Yates, Jacks, and Cotric as :cow:s in my starting 25.
I think they are some of the winners cash cow wise

I'm bummed that I missed out on Wallace, and didn't pick up Hess earlier.

Other good picks were McInnes, Norman, Gutherson, Lamb, and SMat

The only thing that hurts that Surgess only played 40 mins is that he would of scored 70-80 & would of smashed his b/e. Also the dude I'm playing in L51 doesn't have Surgess so it was a good opportunity lost to put him under pressure.

I traded Hayne out after round 3... mainly because I foresaw the need for $$$ to make the Whitehead, Bodene, JBrom trades...

This early in the season, you need cash to shape your team. Although personally I'm not a fan of having too much money sitting in the warchest because I like the money to work (money=fantasy points), but to have money sitting in the NPR at this stage I think is not advisable.

I'm happy to trade Hayne back into the team at a later stage

That's what I found hypocritcal re Simona when he admitted cocaine use. All these ex players coming out & getting stuck into him when half of them were just as bad. The nrl definitely has a double standard when it comes to guys like Lockyer, Sailor, A. Johns, P. Gallen & so on. If you are 1 of the select few you are ok but if you're not you are just kicked to the gutter.

Exactly what I'm thinking mate. Taking a gamble on Ponga, but a couple of more games and he'll make good cash.

I would wait but I can understand people bringing him in if you're searching for the extra 10-15 points if you're upgrading the likes of Sironen for example. There's always the chance that Whitehead scores sub 40 v the Broncos & losing even more money with a b/e of 61.

I can see Whitehead not really scoring that well v the Broncos. Even next week he could have a high b/e & be even cheaper in 2-3 weeks.

That's me. Top of the table clash.

Looking at our matchup, it will take more than a head knock to surgess for me to win.

G'day mate. Always good to meet the man behind the team. Good luck bro & when I looked at our match up I didn't get that impression at all & thought it would be a very close game. Fantasy always pulls some surprises with players so you never know until the final whistle of the final game. Just a heads up I just traded in Ponga for Phythian mate.
