    Somewhere in NZ I assume...

I have a feeling that a Siro downgrade and a Sione upgrade to Leilua is on the cards.

Literally everyone will get CHN if he comes in at base price with a BE of -30 or whatever.

Would be more sensible to add him as if he was 138k last week, so 47 over BE or about 180k. Many will still get him but won't be a full cashout or a piss easy straight swap from a Papalli-type non-player.

Lots of people got TRD because he came in at base price with a negative BE. Then he scored 10, and people were stuck without the $100k they'd been dreaming of.

Thus a few people might be scared off a similar unknown with dubious job security just for a one off cash grab.

I think there are a few differences to TRD. For one, he scored even more so will have more "free money" on his BE. His job security, after a good debut, will be pretty clear as soon as Cartwright's injury is clear. He's there until Carty or JFH come back, enough time to make substantial cash, considering the next point, that he's 2RF not WFB so incredibly unlikely to score a TRD-style 10.

At base price, where there are also no other current base price forward options, I think EVERYONE will bring him in.

Didn't players last year who were added late have the price rise included

I think it will be another case of TRD. If not, it's actually unfair on TBO who was looking tfor a second row downgrade, he would have bought him in at base price and played him in his 17 this week.

When you say his job security will be clear when Cartwright's injury is clear. That is not really good job security.

And there is every chance after a week or 2 he'll be a bench forward getting 20 points or less.

This season has tonnes of examples of rookies killing it first game and then sucking. What makes some random Corey you hadn't heard of 24 hours ago so special

It's situational. IF he comes in at 138k with a minus 25-30  BE, he only needs three weeks scoring 30s to make serious 100k+ coin. He's not a WFB. He doesn't need to be a special starting 2rf to do that, and he's not going to be dropped (if Cartwright out) after a 40-0 win where he played well, whoever he is.

Yes, he'll go back to bench and start losing money at some point, but as a straight cash grab the amount he'll gain even in a couple of weeks will be so skewed by coming in a base price it'll make him irresistable.

I will just be annoyed like as said he is entered at base price and people use him as a easy swap for a shit pre season selection

I'll probably get him in too if he comes in at base price and Cartwright looks to be out for a bit.
But Cartwright has been named last 2 weeks so you'd think he'd not be too far off.

Also, if he gets TRD treatment then temper your expectations about initial price rise. The 62 from last night will never be the most recent game in the weighted average for price change, so you'll miss the initial big hit for cash making

I'm not panic trading but is it too early to trade out Lamb? I figure if I trade him out and play Jacks
Next week I can get Tolo for Smat then have enough to upgrade Talakai to BJ
Then the week after Kbrom to Jbrom and I'll have cash left over
