I've dialled down the trade rage a bit and focussed on generating cash. Also allows me to bank a trade (28 remaining)
James > Vaughan - reversed the trade
    SMat > CHN

Smat was a reserve, and chance of not making BE. Could continue to make solid consistent points, but his cash for next week is more valuable to me. DPP could have been handy, but I've enough flexibility in CTR/WFB to manage for the time being.

    HOK: Smith, (Brailey)
    FRF: James, Wallace, (Hoare, Yates)
2RF: Surgess, Faufusi, JDB, (CHN, Elliot, Siro)
    HLF: Pearce, Lamb (Jacks, Field)
    CTR: T.Trbo, Cotric (Idris, Kelly)
WFB: French, RTS, Slater (Hayne, Suli)

Reserves not great and need to keep eye on team lists for Lamb and CHN.

Gives me $205K for Brailey plans next week.

I haven't picked the right playing Centres all year. Last wee I thought I had it right when I moved SMat down there. Moral of the story, I am picking and sticking for a few weeks.

Some people seem pretty jumped up about Idris being back. I've got him as well but not keen on playing him in my 17, he looked pretty lethargic to begin the year and until I see that change I'm taking the usual suspect group of cash cow backs as more reliable options.

I was cringing at this trade TBH when I first saw it, but if anyone should it is you with your Reserve depth.

I'm starting Idris, but worried MCK will spell him if struggling

I'm not picking him to make length of the field tries. I'm picking him to fend his way through the 13 players on the other team. CTRs are making coin with 4 fends in one hit up. Thats all i want from him.

He looked fine in the half of first grade he played - 17 pts in ?? minutes. Then he played the full 80mins last weekend. MCK on the bench is a risk, but he should remain part of the fwd rotation - especially with Ballin presumably rotating with the HOK.

Gotta risk it for the biscuit!

Not sure if thats sarcasm in you text, but I'll take it.

What's another failed cow amongst my dairy farm here?

    Milchcow - you're always welcome.

Anyone else still stuck with the disappearing man Moses Leota can wait until final lineups are confirmed and then trade straight to That Panthers Guy.

Hahaha, no sarcasm mate, probably should have specified-you have Jacks and Yates not in our 17, I think a lot of us still have to play at least one of those.

Haven't seen much mention of Simpkins @ 176k. I have to admit he looked solid last week. Even though he's dearer he seems a more nailed pick than CHN. Simpkins playing hooker until Peats comes back in round 8 but should get another couple of games with Paasi injured. Thoughts.

Yeah me neither. That goes for all my reserve decisions. Happy enough with my team. Just keep starting the wrong guys. Was pretty happy with this for this week :

    Turbo SMat
    RTS Slater Cotric

    Now Idris is in. Hmmmmm

I'm stuck with Papalli of the I variety.

How did you pull up Sunday morning? It was you throwing the cocktails down Saturday night wasn't it?

    I'd appreciate some help

I need to cull Sezer but not sure if I should downgrade him or cut another cow like kbrom and go for a gun half.

Halves are cronk sezer elgey jacks

    My shame is now known

I keep ignoring him because I have double traded every week so far so need to stop grabbing cows.

So Sezer downgrade would be killing off a spot? If you got the Reserve depth another gun half puts you ahead of the pack. But do you have Brailey? If so you might need the cash there in a couple of weeks to upgrade Brailey. Obviously less dangerous killing off a spot in the Halves as opposed to only having one hooker this early.
