Seems you're in a bit of trouble this week with your WFB mate.

I'd almost be inclined to make a double trade there this week. Ponga may yet play this week this Coote being no certainty yet but not sure I'd go chasing CHN. Jayne looks like she will be 2 weeks away so you could hold but I'm assuming you've double traded every week since the get go by the looks of your team.

Ranking wise, you stand to challenge well with some smart moves from now on in. It's the backs that need some attention for you to make that push. That's where I'd be focussing for now while reaping some cash from your cows over the next few weeks.

Watch for news if Barnett is out, as Yates would take his spot at lock.
Even if he plays 40 mins from the bench he would still outscore the other two though Razz

is Smat to BJ really sideways?

I would not refute that SMat is a keeper- I had him since round 1 and think he is nailed on for consistent 40s in that tricky position going forward. I was happy to hold him through his early poor scores and still adamant i would run through the whole season with him barring injury. But BJ's price dropping so low quite early puts a spanner in the works because I firmly believe BJ will have a 50 point average for the season, and surely we can contest that different calibers of 'keeper' make some gun to gun trades worthwhile.

    Thoughts?

Edit: probably wouldn't even make this trade until next week anyway

Can't believe people are trading out Lamb and Smat scoring well bar mid game injuries and position shuffling. Do people just look at last week's score and this weeks BE?

Then unless you have a bunch of other cows mate I'd say no. Brailey will still make coin for a few weeks (assuming he get 55+ minutes) due to his BE but unless you want to step from him to a midranger before you step to a gun I wouldn't do it.

Maybe whack your full team up with proposed trades so I can have a closer look at it for you mate.

    Current team: 130k ITB

    Smith, Brailey
    McGuire, Wallace, Musgrove, Yates
Gallen, Mannering, Kaufusi, Sione, Sironen, Stone
    Norman, Lamb, Jacks, Elgey
    Walker, Cotric, Moga, Kelly
    Semi, RTS, Suli, Abbey, TRD

I'm looking at trading out 2 of Walker, Lamb, Moga or Suli for Slater plus either CHN or Gutherson

It's about this time every week that I start to 2nd guess my Monday trades... last week I decided to postpone my Whitehead trade and bring in Aubs Love (credit to Booze for the idea) which saved my bacon.
... should I postpone my Bodene trade? (you don't have to answer this question... it's me talking to myself)

I don't think this is sideways mate but I would want to see BJ have a good week or two first. It's all well and good to say "we know he can do x" but until he does it, I ain't buying.

Short of that, no hesitations in that trade at all.

Because if Smat can turn into BJ for 60k, it will probably be the closest in price the two will ever see.

With Mbye out, Babbey should be goal kicking this week.

That's an extra 0-2 points right there

Cheers for the input bud. I may be more easily impressed, but I think a good score this week will put me over the line. Might be hard for him with Whitehead out though. The Raiders are coming up to one of the easiest runs any team will have in the comp this year (IMO)

Well I don't really want to trade Lamb out to be honest but it helps get Bodene in next week. Not too often you can get a cut price gun like him in for the price he is.

Wouldn't trade Lamb mate. Suli yeah, can see that for Slater. Walker is gonna ruffle some feathers. Most around here will say (you bought him in for a reason" but I'd be ok with trading him. If he ain't living up to expectations when you bought him in ANTICIPATING that he'd do something that he's not then how long do you give him. It's like that ex that's a dud root, how many chances does she really have?

Gutherson and Slater would be the ideal move but that requires two backline trades. With your lack of DPP's I don't think that's possible right?

You wouldn't upgrade Lamb to a gun now if you have the chance?

This. I can understand when it's for CHN or something like that but when it's a guy that make your week and basically be set and forget I fell it's a different story.

As already stated tho, I would wanna see that outta BJ first.
