Part 25 last year started n the 18th April, so we are on track to beat last years post number.

Here is a quote from page 1 of that thread

Clack Bocks wrote:On my McInnes comment, he's already expensive, forget that. In hindsight though, is likely to be best hooker cash cow. Who would have thought?

    Still somewhat applicable this year

    Everyone trading in CHN

Would you be happy if he played 1 game, made $40k, and then never played again?
I think you have to be prepared for that possibility. And if you don't think that helps your team, then think seriously about the trade.

Rank top 5 from: Brailey, Musgrove, Yates, Sironen, Smat, Jacks, Elgey, Suli & Kelly?

Also, would you play Suli or Kelly ahead of Cotric?

He is one of my 10 second rowers... I'm sure I can manage with only 9 playing

same thing can be said if what happens if he plays 2 - 4 more games he will make over 100k plus if he scores some tries even more. you could dissadvantage your self not picking him up like the people who didnt get hess those players will be a gun behind because of the money he has made. you are right if he plays one game he could cause trouble as i see the end game being 1 hooker 3 2rf as reserves

I'm a little bit concerned about Cotric playing against the Eels... at least he's not facing Jennings and Radradra on his side of the field

Moving Lamb on to one of:

    Gutherson (DPP, good byes)
    Bunt (plays rd 12)
    A Rey (good byes)

Leaning towards Gutherson or A Rey....

You are probably right with this one but everyone else has nearly as much risk and aren't bottom price no more. Stimson, Capewell and Simpkins spring to mind. Come to think of it mostly all players currently under $200K in the forwards have struggled to make any more than 40K across 4 weeks (hence why they are under $200K , and are near peak now. So worse case scenario he sits there and you have made $40-$50K of him just as you would picking up others.

Capewell probably the best option for byes but he isn't playing anymore. I will get him later or closer to origin hopefully.

I wish he was matched up against those two. Defensively he's solid and Parra will send most of their attack down that side so no chance he'd go missing for a whole half a la last week.

Sironen, Sione, Elgey, Yates (if he starts), Musgrove

I wouldn't play Suli or Kelly ahead of Cotric.

clearly looks good and has stabilised in price lower end. I'm bringing him in for lamb and he's going to the moon.

have to bring in CHN as he will.make some cash this week and chances are get a couple more games this season. It's not like there are a lot of solid, secure cash cows anyway.

Well unless you trade him out again, you don't actually make any money.

And just because others are worse doesn't make him good.
Saving the trade is always a possibility

I am concerned he'll be like Jaydn Su'a last year - make a little cash but not enough to be of much use.

Don't know why people are so down on Suli.

Even discounting his big score against 1-leg Inglis, he's had 1 crap game and 2 good ones in a period where the Tigers have sucked. As far as rookie wingers go, he's about as good as you can hope for.

I'm comfortable with my decision to play him over Cotric this week.
