This was the link where I got that story from Twitter. Those other 2 links both want you to subscibe to the Daily Telegraph.

I don't understand why. Hopefully you can somehow use this link instead.................

Is it considered bad form to try and win a H2H by matching players if you have the lead?

for example: I have 3 pts, James and Idris (R) to play against Johnson and Suli. So if by some freak of nature James was to outscore Johnson this arvo, I could switch the R from Idris to Suli and take the win.

Bad form, or banking the win?

Its not as if I'm pulling a Chris Kennedy or anything...

Whatever it takes do it. You are just making a tactical move. Nothing wrong with it.

roundabout 270k maybe a bit more. he's price will drop in 3 weeks if he continues to put out 26 points to around 250k.

Books pretty much always over pump the Warriors at home.

    Surely you jest.

The 60min mark is when the Warriors give up, not when they suddenly turn on the afterburners. Laughing

Haha. When Supercoach change stats too much on review they are incompetent. When Fantasy don't change scores enough on review then something is wrong.

Should they just randomly add 1-4 stats to every player after each game to make it look better

A good start would be to award points based on what actually happens out there. K.Pritchard palmed one guy off and carried another over the line for his try - yet 0 TB's. If that was Brailey then I guarantee he gets 2 TB's. That's the problem with going genuine POD's, you can guarantee they don't get the love of that the high % guys get!

I remember milchy or someone else doing some stats around "fanhub favourites" last year or the year before and dispelled the myth that those players regularly get more points than unknown or unfavoured players.

In fact I think there may have been a couple of players that were considered "unfavoured" that scored more points and vice-versa.
The perception is there when people watch a single player closely but it doesn't actually translate to the stats.
