I've gone Elgey for two reasons. I'm expecting him to start scoring better as he gets over his injury (mentally) and also its the Warriors and they love leaking points to halves (may not be backed up by stats).

I hate quoting myself and saying I called it but also I don't hate it at all.

Bad form, or banking the win?

Its not as if I'm pulling a Chris Kennedy or anything...

Thanks for the replies, but now it hinges on James actually doing something to earn more than SJ. Something tells me my opponent (not sure who Soop-A-starz is) has the upper hand in this one.

    James is on thin ice...

I can't believe how bad the Warriors are in defense. They are making mistakes you'd see in junior football. Pathetic.

Beauty of the siuation is that it is still entirely plausible that Elgey will finish on less than 30 points, such is the joyful dilemma of Elgey!

He got a bit of a late shot and was clutching his neck a bit. Ended up on the sideline icing it not long after. Not sure if he is meant to be back yet.

If elgey can keep these 30 points by full i will consider the r that i put on him today a win.

    Now idris or suli....

Bodene needs some ball, 20 points at half time, happy with a 45 at this stage.

Yeah thats what i mean, exactly how Filth called it.

I want to see alot of Johnson in the 2nd half, followed up by Vaughan for another 50+ effort to top the round off.

TPG and Cotric playing. Elgey and Abbey benched.

I didn't see the risk with TPG to be honest. He got 31 on base stats last week, at the least I thought he'd be good for around that score making more tackles against the Storm. Cotric has always been a back-up of mine. Despite being a winger his base stats are far better than the likes of Rennings, Kelly, Abbey etc

I didn't see a game like that coming from Abbey but I'm glad he did to make cash. With Elgey I thought he'd get some attacking chances against the Warriors but didn't want to risk him burning me. I mean a score of 30 with two tries isn't that great. Without them he'd be sitting on the bench with justification
