Looking at biting the bullet and using ET to fund getting a proper half finally.

    Thoughts on:

    A
    Elgey/ET to ARey/Spina (via Dpp)
    B
    Jacks/ET to SJ/Spina

Spina could obviously be any basement price forward but he leaves zero dollars in the bank or 10k if I go with a Fai or someone like that

ARey is a risk and reward trade.

If he plays origin then it's a complete waste, but if he dosen't, he will be gold for the bye rounds.

You know SJ won't play origin so he is the safer option at this point.

Yeah ARey and Pearce look the best worst buys and byes around this time from the halves. Origin beckons for both potentially Embarassed

I can get Pearce if I do go with a 138k red dot forward but I've just never once owned him in fantasy so it's an uncomfortable one for those dollars. Any regular Pearce owners care to share if he's a joy or frustrating to own at top dollar

As #1 member of the Pearce fan club I can confirm that he's brilliant to have this year. He tackles well, kicks well, is good for a try here and there with his backing up. Due to the way he plays the game he loves a try assist and so far has been the stand out pick in my team thus far.

I would prefer from a fantasy standpoint that people don't bring him in as I think he is a great POD for my team. However in the interest of fairness I have deluged this information.

Wow @Welshy, that's a top effort on the avatar. Woke up this morning and it took until the bottom of my coffee before i realised @Random wasn't you. Looks like avatar bets went up a notch, going to have to 'tune up my paint skillz'.

Correct spelling at work is not something I do well. Divulged.

    I wouldn't make a dog joke about Pearce, he's a lad.

Nice looking squad mate. I'm not sure I'd lose Hess with him playing the Knights at home. He could score big in this game. If you saw WT's post re Bodene's injury history you could be making a bad trade. Bodene never lasts a season injury free.

I will say that he still doesn't quite seem himself so scary to think what he could be scoring.

Think I might be bringing him in this week, on a positive note I can nearly buy anyone else with his money if it doesn't work out.

chn was pegged for a Jbrom trade in a few weeks but at the moment that ain't looking like it's happening so can be changed. Problem is that move was how I planned on getting Gallen in before the byes for Wallace which is a bit niggly given the lack of DPPs.

But with Crichton's bye coverage I'm starting to think he's the bigger priority than Whitehead at this stage.

Couldn't that be just as much reason not to go Crichton? I'm certainly considering going Whitehead/Podene this week instead of Chricton in the hope that his minutes change or he starts scoring mid 30's or something and I'm not effected (so effectively a POD that i don't have him).

    Should I bring in McCullough:
    F. Winterstein out - Spina in (via Yates)
    Cook out - McCullough in

Or is Crichton a better option. Crichton has a low b/e whereas Macca has a b/e of 62 which he could easily achieve. My Crichton trades are:
    Lamb out - K-Nik in
Yates out - Crichton in (via McGuire)

Should I wait until next week re McCullough hoping he scores below his b/e.

    Cheers.
