I always see this statement regarding two trades. It isn't two trades at all. It's actually one. You were going to trade the player out anyway either to a bottom price NPR or a gun so to trade to somebody like Stone would only cost you one extra trade.

It's misleading when people say that it isn't worth it for two trades! One trade needs to make you 75-80k minimum to make it worthwhile. That's how I play it.

Just thought I'd clear that up.

If you do that move you might struggle to have enough funds down the road to upgrade Niko to a 2nd quality hooker. I think since Munster has a bye in round 12 it's better getting him in round 13 then he plays 15 & 18. Also Brailey still will make you money in the meantime. I would hold off on that trade.

decided i'm going Hess to Stone, maybe not the most logical of options to take, but logic seems to be taking a back seat in fantasy this season

Haha! Rabbit does have a sense of humour. I liked this too quick and then I wished to give it a thumbs down because I thought it was worth 10 reputation points, but the forum does not let you change your mind by the looks of it!

This might sound silly but having an avatar goes a long way to replies as well I think. Gives the person a face and more likely to remember them and that way you can see how they're contributing to the forum a lot easier.

Amen to that ! Part of the reason i went on a quest encouraging avatars to be put up more. Although i did get a few seedy replies and F-off's whilst on the job.

Is there a tip on how to get to the most recent page on the mobile site without clicking "next" 40 times?

Have been average at best so far mate but I only play for head to head in a cash comp so that's my focus. Making $$ early and bursting home with a gun side like I did last year. Team value is at $9m so i have some good options in the coming weeks. Nearly there.

    How are you doing?

If thats what is required, my best tip is to be patient.

It should automatically come up as the full site on your phone, one of the biggest reasons the full site is default on mobiles is your issue.

Not sure if you can change it on your settings on mobile site but you can on the full site. Full site is much better on mobiles in my opinion.

    Focus on the outgoing player.

Let's say it's someone like Asiata who has peaked. When you brought Asiata in, you always planned to trade him back out. You brought him in on the basis he would make at least 75k because that's what a cow trade in should make you to be worthwhile. He made 80k. Cool.

So now you see Stone as another good option to make you another 80k. Asiata to Stone costs you the trade you would have made which you originally thought would be Asiata to a gun or down to a 138k NPR - however in Stone, you see an opportunity to add to your cash reserves. I call it a diversion trade. I did it with Siro this week to Crichton. I originally planned to trade siro down to a NPR, but, at 420k I see Crichton as a cheap keeper who will make 80k more minimum from here. If he ends up getting dropped later on, I will trade him across at no cost to a bonafied gun. 500k to 500k. This in theory will cost me one extra trade than I originally planned, however it's fine as my formula of 75k minimum money made per trade has been met.

Anyway. Each to their own. Play it as you like. It works for me.

Lets just say the theoretical trade is downgrading Sironen to Yates

    Sironen - Yates (trade 1)
    Yates - cashout (trade 2)

If you don't bring in Yates, then at some point you will do
    Sironen - cashout (trade 1)

So whilst bringing in Yates will consume 2 trades, it is likely you were going to spend 1 trade anyway, so its only 1 extra trade.

Might be good for Fifita and his chances of missing out on a place in the team. Not good for him obviously, but good for us. Twisted Evil
