K.Ponga was limping badly during that 2nd half of last weeks game. Hope he is OK to suit up for one more game giving Coote one more week off.
After round 9, it will be Rep week with all clubs having the week off, so don't risk Coote and give him an extra week or so to get it right.
Of course, none of this matters unless Ponga is good to go....................

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 35
Anyone keen on Lewis Brown. Currently dpp 2fr/ctr @ 138k but that price will rise 5-10k based on his score v Canberra. He is low enough to be a cash out & seems to be getting more & more minutes lately (played 51 mins v Canberra). It's interesting in the Canberra game that Sironen only played 34 mins. Was there a reason that Sironen only played 34 mins because L. Brown came on for him & never went off. Was it an injury to Sironen or is Barrett now looking at favouring Brown over Sironen. Thoughts.

It will be interesting to see if L. Brown is on the bench or starting this week.

He'll only tempt me if L. Brown is in the starting 13 playing 2fr & I can play him in the ctrs. If he starts & at that price what's not to like. There's very few cash out options or cash cows atm.

Might try and make it a tradelss week unless downgrading or bringing in players that obviously aren't going to play rep footy. I think I'm just being precautious but any big upgrades can probably wait just incase you bring a player in playing in a rep game and they get injured or something. Obviously probably not an option in regards to funds but if it can wait, it's only an extra game, but the way I'm thinking you might as well get it out of the way and trade in the round after.
Man you and I are playing a similar game this year! I was just thinking the same thing. I'm a trade whore though so it will be hard to fight temptation. I think from memory we have similar teams and looking at your trades on the last thread I made a number of those too. I'll put mine out there too:
Rd 1: Python to Moga
Rd 2: Dalker to Hess
Rd 2: I.Papalli to Abbey
Rd 3: Suli to Slater
Rd 4: Moga to CHN
Rd 4: Kromwich to Bodene
Rd 5: Brailey to Cook
Rd 5: Elgey to Frawley
Rd 6: Yates to Tualau
Rd 6: Lamb to ARey
Rd 7: Jacks to KNikorima
Rd 7: Sironen to Crichton
Was about to organise a search party mate, haven't seen you post for a few weeks I don't think.

I literally just wrote down 6 or 7 things I know about you that I reckon would actually get me close to finding you in real life. Then I deleted them because I realised that all I need to do to find you is check out every indoor pool in Wellington on a Friday night until I find you.

Yeah, looked like ponga picked up a ankle injury during the game, and you can see with his second try he basically limped over the line. Hopefully he can pull up and have 1 more game.

I will find you, I will stop you, I will liberate the victims of the tainted recreational centres and reinstate the chlorine levels to their previously acceptable levels.

Siro played 55 the week before then bown came on and stayed on. He is worth a look if siro is out of favour and brown impressing barett more.

sedart fo ynitsed elbisrever
R1
R2 Daifiti > Matagi; Brown > Wallace -- probably just better to use one and go daifiti to Wallace
R3 iapalli > Hoare; Elgey > Lamb --- shithouse, but LG to Lamb will be OK in the long term
R4 Moses > May --- may as cash out DPP hlf-2rf super useful (moses too flaky)
R5 moeroa > vaughan; phythian > CHN --- learning how to make quality trades
R6 matagi > frawley; faufusi > brown -- may have jumped the gun on faufusi but brown has been quality and I was worried about Tofu Harris coming back - prob. need to treat frawley as a trade out only hopefully will come good
R7 wallace to tolman; yates to whitehead -- again jumped the gun on wallace (too early) but I am expecting tolman to have a higher ceiling; yated to whitehead will be better in the long run
R8 jacks > niko; siro > crichton mixed bag again. it the long run my trades will work out I think, getting set for origin but need to learn from this year.
no trades till origin hey?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 35
My biggest regret was not getting Ponga
RD1:
Python to Suli
Perrett to Winterstein
RD2:
Sironen to Hess
Talakai to Jennings
RD3:
Moses to Jacks
Moeros to Vaughan
RD4:
Cordner to Thompson
Hayne to Harawira-Naera
RD5:
Brailey to Cook
RD6:
McGuire to Brown
Yates to Crihton
RD7:
Jacks to Niko
Plan this week is to go Winterstien to Gallen which should mean i can leave the forwards alone for a while and work on upgrading the backs

Yeah mate only a couple. Fantasy was taking over my life and nothing was getting done! I've been somewhat keeping up with the thread though.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 35
high scoring match up for myself and @secret weapons in lowly but highly scoring L7
681 vs 673
de belin & vaughan + 8 points vs slater & faufusi
we both have CS(9)(c) and RTS left
still have not given up hopes of 1000 but now not likely?
