wolfking wrote:Even though trading in CHN this week seemingly was a flat out dumb trade, since he's pretty much no chance for round 9, for some reason, I don't regret it one bit.  Even though he didn't have the best game, the kid is a gun and IMO should be starting every week.  And missing out on him and the feeling of that, I feel happy and content that I at least got to feel a little bit of that.  Crazy huh?

Who knows, with the rumors TMM is on the outer, Merrin will more than likely play origin so he might get a run in round 18, and Harris seems pretty injury prone, you just never know.  Also, wasn't there rumors of a mid season transfer to the Sharks?

Anyway, I may feel different in the morning but it's one of those situations that it's done and I'll just pretend I had him all along, and get a bonus price rise.  The trade is done, move on.  Guys that traded Moose and Merrin should just think the same.  You did the trade for a reason, and there is always that risk of trading out healthy players.  All part of the game.  If we could see ahead to what would happen to influence our decisions, the game wouldn't be exciting at all.

He'll play R9. Why wouldn't he? They got pumped. He had two balls stripped - Sam does that every week. He more than made up for it. He was probably only getting 60 minutes anyway, as he has done most games, and last week was an anomaly. I don't think he's going anywhere and to say he 'might' only play R18 is ridiculous. He'll play far more than that. Bench at worst. He'll play before Kikau and Browne.

I'm not just talking about Gillett. In fact I wasn't considering his score at all. My position on this is well known.

No but you actually have a good team, not sure how you are 13th.

Beat you last week. Looks like it is going come down to Slater and Faufusi again though. His last minute try really shafted me last week. Only need to beat @ Zazu Knights by 35.6 points and I will be content.

So Tohu Harris is playing this weekend but for the Falcons. I thought this was kinda strange that he is returning through the ISC as his calibre of player I assumed hed be straight back into the team and off the bench to start with at worst.

Maybe because hes off at the end of the year Bellyache is going to give him a reduced role this year and reward the players that are resigning

Will take those updates! Expected downgrades to Macca and CHN so satisfied there

Agree with you guys the milf scoring is just baffling. He is doing so much more it looks like! Will maintain that i still think he an Niko are great for this little run of 3 home fixtures and if someone said you could have whatever CLEARY scores tonight, you'd be happy enough

So in hindsight selling McGuire probably wasn't necessary after a score of 62 but it was bound to happen after I sold him. McGuire played really well though so he deserved his score. I did bring in Nathan Brown & he should go close to matching McGuire's score plus his ownership is at 2.82% so not only is he playing big minutes at lock & scoring well, he's a great pod.
Also I really feel for those who sold Merrin this week especially if you have held him all through his poor scores. Once again fantasy has a tendency to kick you while you're down.
I know CHN had a few dropped balls in the game but those short balls Carty was throwing at him were like bullets but he really showed what a tremendous talent he is. However if Penrith get all their injured players back for next week I can see him getting dropped in favour of the more experienced players.

But even though I had mcguire, i still think the trade to brown happens at some stage. If brown scores 60 i will be diss appointed i didnt trade mcguire for brown. Mcguire just bought us holders some breathing room

Wow so Milford didn't get a TA for Kahu's try and a LBA for Glenn's break.

    That's a f**king joke.

Obviously the fantasy scorers don't have him in their teams.

As well as byes the reason I made the move was because I expected Brown to score 50 & with his low b/e his price would of gone up past McGuires or at least around about the same.

There needs to be an investigation.
