I just hope Hampton plays and jags a try so he can get a good price rise. I cashed out Elgey for him so no big deal he's a dud but would like some more cash

Someone recently asked about a good cash out for Suli (or more generally in the C or WFB? someone that may play over the bye period. Anyone have any suggestions?

But Mal picked him in the first place knowing everything he does now.... as i said, this was reported when it first happened months ago.White Lightning wrote:
Mal laid down the benchmark last year that you have to adhere to high standards so it doesn't surprise me that he dropped him. Fifita never got picked in the 4 nations last year for the same reason.

Its all guess work.
But really look for teams that have outside backs playing origin who play bye rounds. Then see if there is a $138k WFB/CTR from that team who has been appearign in 21 man sqauds.
then hope nobody new appears in the next 4 weeks.
But really, bye round replacements aren't *that* important. Some winger who plays 2 games and averages 12 points in that time is unlikely to make or break your season.

Oh is this the old case? I was under the impression it was a new drink driving charge that happened over the weekend or something

Nope, old case at the start of the year that he had already admitted to. It's just that the court stuff has finalised now (which was all trivial anyway given he reported himself and admitted to it).Mighty Fishes wrote:

Seen a couple of people asking for cash out options for Suli. If you have him I'd recommend holding. He's scored just over 30 two weeks in a row while doing very little at centre. It takes just one good play for him to post a big score and get his price rising up quite nicely.
Of course if you need the money for an upgrade and he's the best sell option, go for it. But don't feel the need to rush him out. He's still got some coin to make.

I was talking about the Overall ladder... but the L51 H2H's will be close games
I'm up against @Shanbon... looks like it's going to be close

Thanks mate, yeah thats what I figured. My default is to go with a best guess but make sure the player is bottom dollar to maximise the cash out. If you get some bye round points its a bonus at this stage it seems!

Hopefully, I'll pull ahead against Clack Bocks and go past you both.White Lightning wrote:

Yeah thats what i dont understand with papalii. None of this is "news". It was all known about. His court date was known. Its not like it is a surprise. Did the kangaroos selection committee just forget to note it?

This is the NRL.
Punishment is doled out based on media outrage, not the severity of the crime in question.

Gave Smat his marching orders this week and brought back Hayne via TTurbo up to CTR (cheapest cash out option who should still score ok/make money). Means i didn't get to trade in either of Brown or Crichton this week but takes my kitty up to 200k for next week.
Probably give Tom the flick for Croker next week and bring in a good bye keeper.

I reckon fifita will have a big game as he pushes for origin selection, might even throw a punch or two

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 36
Was being dropped from the Test team his only punishment? If so thats pretty soft, this is his 3rd driving incident in 2 years and considering how dangerous drink driving is he should get a decent suspension.
These days the NRL is waiting for the courts to finalize everything before handing down punishments even if a player pleads guilty.
