    worth it?

$60k for an extra 6 points a round of average. I say no. Cotric is good enough at the moment that he can stay until someone else pops up. Aubs isn't it.

Tough call on Cotric to Aubo. 4 weeks ago I probably say yes without hesitation.

Cotric has gotten better every week, he goes looking for work late in the game now and he's averaging decent scores despite us currently coming 10th, so his scores have the potential to improve with the team (although we have still scored a fair few points, so they may not).

Maubs on the other hand has increased competition in the pack in recent weeks and there is at least a little doubt as to whether he will continue to get regular 80mins from here till seasons end. On the other hand, Maubs has decent byes, is somewhat cheap right now and is the 4th highest averaging ctr as it currently stands.

I guess the other option you could look at is Hopoate for a similar average/byes/price, but I'm not all that confident in him.

over the 2 byes Aubs is pretty much nailed on or 80 only problem without  Fergo does he cover CTR with Matterson injured? Easier for Roosers to cover 2RF with Carter, Chris Evans, Liu, SST, that is my main worry about swapping Cotric with Aubbs

I can't remember but in the Roosters game last week did L. Mitchell get into dummy half much & run it out when the Roosters were getting out of their own half. Is there any site where I can see these stats. Cheers.

Not a bad start with 140/2 (Fifita & Gallen) & the Taumalolo factor hasn't impacted me too much as I only dropped 8 ranking points.

I know this has been said but even if I wanted to get Smith(c) out of my 17 to have Fifita (vc) as my captain, it doesn't allow me to do the captain's loophole because there is no 'S' button on Smith. I can't drag him either.

No captain's loophole for byes guys.

Yeah after lockout I tried to move Smith but I couldn't. I'm actually happy that it looks like they have stopped the loophole because to me it always felt like you were cheating in a way but you had no choice but to loophole because everyone else was.

Have a feeling that a lot the Lolo teams would be casual players. It's a little bit a hype pick such as Ponga after the nines etc. given he was Dally M.

I wonder how many teams in the top 1000 have Lolo with a good team around him. Not saying the seasoned fantasy player would be lucky to have Lolo but he has exceeded my expectations again this year and I tend to go with more worker type second rowers such as JDB, Gallen, Surgess, Mannering in the past. These 3 point tackle break points have really changed the face of fantasy in the last few years.

If you picked a team on size and strength you could be doing well e.g. Taupau, James, Fifita, Papalli, Surgess, Hess, Lolo, Nofo, Rapana, Teddy etc

Wow Chris Cornell hung himself in his hotel room. I googled his cause of death & that came up. Poor guy he must of been so tormented by his own demons that he just couldn't carry on.

Slightly different argument - but he was my first picked player in Supercoach. With NRLFantasy tweaking year by year to slowly become more like Supercoach, I imagine that will be more common each year.

Yeah I have both Lolo & Fifita in sc & I agree with you. I've been saying this for ages that nrl fantasy has been gradually morphing into sc whereby there is more emphasis on attacking plays. This is a shame because the beauty of fantasy is the difficulty in getting good points whereas sc just dishes out the points because individual plays are rewarded with greater points.

Tlolo on first glace may not seem workhorse to be a workhorse in the same vein as those guys but he's averaging 29 tackles, 18 hit ups a game and 200(!) metres a game at the moment. With an average 1.4 misser tackles a game thats 45-47 points in base stats alone a game. Man puts in work.

He seems to be the perfect sort of fantasy gun, similar to Fifita, Merrin, Surgesss, etc, who have a high floor in good base stats but also te tackle busting/offloading potential to get massive scores.
