Anyone against these trades? I only want Aubbs if he is a keeper in the ctrs though.

    Thoughts?

    Look pretty solid to me

Nu Brown has signed for Dogs next year and Morts been named on extended bench last few weeks so maybe he is next in line.

Supposedly Fox reported Nathan Brown is out 10-12 weeks. Eels forum someone posted he knows Brown and saying 2 weeks so who knows on that one

Oh okay well if you're doing that then that's fine. Always got to have one gun HOK in the team. Just better hope Cook gets good minutes and game time this week.

When was the last time Storm played less than 48 hours after an Origin game? If Smith plays more than 60 minutes round 13 I'd be amazed. Given it's against Newcastle I'd actually be pretty surprised if he's in the starting 13, might just be on the bench for insurance.

Should I base trades around my mid rangers or use my keeper origin players? Or is it an either/or kinda strategy?

Hey guys, bit gutted about Milf being named in the 17. Im a bit confused though, is there any chance at all the Milf plays round 12? or is he now out regardless of what goes on with JT from here on in?

All these people with 16-18 players for bye round with 20 trades left. I'm screwed

Whatever strategy will get you more points. Will be different for everyone depending on team make up and number of trades left. For me it's concentrating on forwards because they score more points rather than messing about with the backs just so I can field more players for the sake of it. I would say generally selling non keepers who don't play round 12 and possibly some keepers who are aboout to miss four plus games either through injury or origin. Then turn the non keepers who have played rd 12 and have two byes ahead of them into guns before trading your remaining non keepers back to the guns you might have traded out at the start. It's all about timing I think

I'd doubt it, cause if they thought JT would play on the 31st, and Milf plays on the 27th and does himself and injury (or is spent for the next week), then QLD are left high and dry if JT turns out he's no good.

So unless JT is assured to be running out, I doubt Milf is playing the warriors.

JT will play origin. Milf back to the Broncos, would be my bet.

Thanks mate, that's what I figured...I guess (if there is any doubt) then TLT should confirm a few things.

I'm betting JT will play origin but they'll give to the last minute so Milf won't be able to play for the Broncos

Dude I like to see what those peoples teams look like after round 12 if they have 18 good to go for round 12. In a different comp (VTSD) I've done some pretty extensive bye planning, don't have many Origin issues, have a whole squad of 25 that are likely to get game time during the bye period, no injuries, some strategic trades pencilled in during the bye period to bring in guys once they have had one or more of their byes, and a squad that spreads pretty well across rounds 12 to 19 and even then I have several rounds where I can't field 17.

Anyone saying they have 18 for round 12 will almost certainly be very short in other rounds! I wouldn't worry too much about benchmarking against them....

    Ponga > Aubusson
    Suli > Radradra

    Brown Graham (Fifita Papalii)
Surgess Crichton Gallen Fai (Wallace JDB)
    Niko SJ (Cleary Hampton)
    Aubusson Fui Cotric (SMat)
    Radradra RTS Walker (Hayne Abbey)

    I see, cheers again Mulvy.

3 trades are so crazy to run through your head.

With your strategy I could look at:

    Fifita > Graham
    CHN > Gallen
    Yates > Elliot

But it doesnt feel right lol

I don't mind it. A good chance I'm doing the first two and I brought in Elliott last week although that was 36k ago and I might have brought in SST instead if I had the cash

I really hope we get some clear cut news on Brown today, either way. I really want Aubbs, but he would be in my 2RF. Is it worth getting Aubbs if my centre pairing is a set and forget SMat and Croker? I'm thinking if one goes down then Aubbs fills the gap anyway. I think for the work he's going to do and his price, Aubbs is a great trade.

I hope we don't get clear cut news and everyone sells him and then he plays next round because I don't have enough trades to sell him. Sad
