Brown instead of Surgess cost me 70 points and 70k. To top it off I now can't afford Brown to Surgess so have to decided between JDB and Surgess for my final 17. Step 2. Milford is dragged through the mud and used as a scapegoat.
Step 3. QLD drop Milford for Thurston in Origin 2 and 3 as well as strengthening the squad (Slater, Holmes etc.) and win the last two and Thurston is the saviour.

A lot of fantasy players will be hoping for a heavy QLD win to keep Slater and Wallace free for Round 15. However if QLD go 2-0 up then Slater probably plays Origin 3 anyway.

Reason I'm worried about Slater is that reason and the potential they lose origin 1 and comes in for origin 2 as well. if they go 2 up reckon SLater gets in to finish off his origin career?

at least that is a future concern

Milf will only play 1 origin is my bet regardless because JT almost makes origin 1, some say he will anyway and Bennett is taking MILf to NZ apparently unless he is guarenteed to start

Losing Milf for his 1 decent bye coverage game is the real killer

Still deciding on Smith/Fifita out but allows me to use the spare cash to upgrade other players to final guns and get their bye points.
Ie with Fifita you get an extra 2 games of scoring from say Graham, save 120k which may allow you to turn Niko into a Johnson.
Then if you have spare trades after byes bring him back and worst case you don't
Fifita + Niko (bench version) is worse than say Graham + Johnson

It all depends on the makeup of your team,but forget bringing in cashies with a plan to trade out later.
