Since 2012 Gallen has played 11 games without Fifita. In those games he has a high of 99, with 2 scores of 90+(however both included tries). Gallen has a low of 31 with 2 scores in the 30's. Gallen's average without Fifita is 64.63.

I'm sure there are a few in the same boat as me with Crichton VC and Gallen C so I thought I would dive into the stats and check out Gallen's scores without Fifita.

I'd stick with Gal if I was in that situation.
Anyone got the feeling a big game from SJ is coming? I sure hope so, I ain't taking Surgess' 42!
I'm predicting Brailey to score a try tonight too.

I kind of still felt like putting the C on Cam and see what happened. I'd still expect to see 120-130 over his name when the rounds ends.

On Fox sports news Madge blisters the walls with the after game spray. Even Russell Crowe
looked subdued. I will go out on a limb and suggest there will be some changes next round.

If he does make changes again, that's not the answer. How many changes has he made with no avail. It's desire and attitude. Pretty much the same lineup put in a great performance against the Storm and almost got the job done last week. As a Rabbits fan, I was proud of that performance last week, they showed heart and fight. Disappointing they didn't win yes, but you have to comend the effort, it was great. This week was a different story. When they lose like that, that's simply not good enough, and deflating as a fan.

Try being a Warriors fan. Actually on the Warriors they could be going back to offloading & throwing the ball around. SJ basically admitted as much in an interview during the week. I suppose Kearney has finally realised that trying to play low risk grind footy doesn't work with the Warriors because they can't play do it.

Not because of fantasy or bitter commemts or anything, but it is more and more evident Madge maybe aint up to it anymore. These decisions, and especially week to week one's honesty look like deadset random punts. The lame and predictable dump a guy for a stint when that guy knows he will be back in the squad soon perhpaps doesnt work.
In saying that, im not a dinosaur yet but things are a changin to, in general/life. Attitudes and embedded behaviours aren't what they used to be. Cwalker for one, if he isnt happy at his age to be playing Nrl for 200-300k and show a little gumption/patience until he gets a deserved wage increase in the future, then maybe fukoff and work a 9 to 5 for 50k with a pissy attitude. Bit of a rant, but to me some players coming through the ranks now just want the big coin b4 it is earnt. Look at Radradra/Moses/Walker and the plethora of mid-contract jumpers. It reeks.
Not so fantasy related but just airing it out.

On Souths the backs are suffering because the pack just isn't up to it. The only good players in that pack are Surgess & Crichton & the twins & Turner are poor. Sure enough they lift sometimes as they did last week but the wet weather conditions helped them. You're only going to win if your front row does the business & like the Warriors who have similar front row problems it just ain't happening for Souths. With both teams you never know what you're going to get because of inconsistency.

Cody fuckin' walker. At least Reynolds didn't score much better.
158 so far for the round with Captain Gallen to come (no thanks, VC Surgess!)
SJ, RTS, CNK, Ese'ese, Fai, BTHompson, Moga all playing for me at 5:30pm so should see a decent rankings boost (I hope!)

I'm just going to pretend that Cook isn't in my team & thankfully they don't play in round 13 so I can put him on the backburner & it gives me a couple of weeks to create the exit funds for him. Also as a Smith owner the next best target is McInnes & with the Dragons playing the Tigers I don't expect McInnes to get a 60+ score as he won't have to do much tackling so his price won't take off.

Just hoping Smith backs up next week so I can hold off on Brailey to McInnes.

Smith will back up. He always does. If he doesn't which I think will be 0% probability then Cook to Smith Jnr could be a goer for me.

Will smith came onto bench because Nathan brown wasn't playing. They needed someone for backup hooker for insurance if Pritchard can't see out the 80 mins. Don't see it changing or affecting pritchard really unless he cops an Injury or HIV like he did last night.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 44
As a Cook owner & this was mooted on the forum lately. The idea of killing off the 2nd hooker spot & just running with CS9. This idea has some merit if you look at the top 11 averages. I have excluded Faifai Loa who has played 1 game for 59.0%.
Taumalolo=63.7%, CS9=61.6%, Macca=61.6%, J. Papalii=58.7%, JDB=58.1%, Gallen=58.1%, Fifita=57.7%, Pearce=57.5%, J-Trbo=56.8%, Surgess=56.3%, McInnes=55.7%.
I'd say Macca's average will start falling with K-Nik on the bench. Six of the top 11 are 2fr so this year the trend seems to be stacking your 2fr. For those thinking like me of getting McInnes as a 2nd hooker he is actually placed 11th on averages. So it seems getting McInnes may not be the percentage play to make when you could kill off your 2nd hooker spot & buy Taumalolo who is the number 1 averaging player in fantasy. Also killing off your 2nd hooking spot is low risk because CS9 never gets injured.
