nathan merrit was always the worse selection just because everyone knew what would happen if he got picked, they still picked him and what we all expected to happen, ended up happening


others were either player who played good attacking footy at club level but at other elements exploited at origin (EG uate, williams tupou) or were solid first graders carried to an origin jumper by bellamy (EG turner and Quinn)

Oh god. So far in the last QLD golden age we have the following dud NSW wingers (at SOO level): Merritt, Quinn, Turner, Uate, Williams, Monaghan, El Masri, & McManus.

I'll give Eric Grothe Jr & Daniel Tupou the benefit of the doubt.

hey, El Masri only got 1 game and was pretty good in a win


it was a dead rubber and meant very little but he certainly doesn't deserve the tag of origin dud over 1 solid performance!
