except when they both scored 40 odd last week  Razz

What happened to JBrom anyway? Left and he was on 24 in 26 minutes? ended up 30 in 55?

They got 40 last week and seemed to be hitting some form.

Getting over this game a bit.  This bye planning shit isn't working.  JBrom and Gurgess now no go zones.   Lamb sitting in my NPR for weeks, I'm tempted to say fuck it, chuck him in and keep him there.

Lamb, Kaufusi and Fui sitting on the bench while Niko and Brailey chalk up the points.  Feeny getting a 43 makes this game a lot to do with pot fucking luck.

Finally someone in the same boat! I'm 278/7 no C.

Mate, the Niko v Lamb decision was bad luck not bad management. Brailey had his worst score of the year. Fui most of us missed playing as SMat played before him. Kaufusi had another blinder.

In regards bye planning, it can be tough sometimes in the full rounds as you will normally have a slightly weaker team when all players are playing. But if you get the bye planning right you have to appreciate those rounds where you make up 500 or 1000 or even 4000 places (Round 12 for me was a near 4000 place gain; Round 13 another 700 paces). Now I will drop back maybe 1000 places this round for a nett gain of just under 4000 places.

Personally your score this week thus far is slot of bad luck, not wholly bye planning.

They have been that way for weeks, if not months. I dont know why people keep thinking they are going to come good when they keep getting 30 every single week.

Brom 42 last week DIRECTLY AFTER returning from his ban suggested a reason for a change. Last week he ran very hard and tackled strongly-his best game of the year. He had a great start last night as well-25 in 23 minutes but had a shocking second stint. The signs are there and there is a catalyst for change.

In regards Gurgess, at 235k people have bought Gurgess in because he is the "best risk" going.

Thanks mate.  I guess that calms my trade rage down a little.  But at his price, I could jump back on my boy Tommy T.  Although a 20 from him is not very encouraging, I did hear it was really wet though.

I might downgrade Niko next week to Feeny for the cash, serious.

I think that injury was still bothering him, he was limping at times. His break even was 33 tho so good for us non owners to bring him in in a few weeks time.
Maybe J. Roberts too as he got nowhere near his BE either. 13 points with a BE of 54 Smile

Thanks mate, yeah, you're right, I just felt like blaming something.  Niko has been so good and I thought Wayne talking him up he would have come out and done well.  I think doing a Hunt from the kick off might have changed him mentally. SMat was on the bench luckily, that's one thing.  lamb keeps getting consistent scores but Niko had the higher ceiling.  Lamb with a 42, I thnk I'll just make him my boy for a bit and see if he can keep that up.  42 just looks so much better than say 37.

Went Fifi captain and simply something like going Surgess instead would make things look a whole lot better.  I think guys like myself that dumped Smith are going to take a hit this week with the guys that captained him.  I hope I can make up some ground next week, and if I don't, I'll just work towards my strongest team.

It's good to see someone else on par.  I'm taking a punt on Frawley to Lolohea this week and will have to try and get Gal next week.  Surgess and Crichton my two saviours so far this round.  Brown, Tolo, SJ, McInnes and a few others to come so at least I got Brailey and Niko out of the way I spose.  Forgot about Billy too, he was good, I think I have to just keep him.

Whatever the case was with how his injury was going, the Manly staff were nuts getting him back this week when they have a bye next week, especially when Wright has been solid enough and they were versing the Knights.

    Ouch bro.

In regards to Walker, if I owned him, unless he pulls finger next week I'd ship him off. Whatever that contract stuff was a few weeks ago, it's clear he just doesn't want to be there.

Yeah, I think I really want to keep Slater too, he could have a couple of 70's by seasons end. Also RTS even with his poor byes. Cotric same boat as RTS. Glad I grabbed Semi a few weeks ago in regards byes.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing hey. Would have better with another week off and come back fresh after the bye with a week of training under his belt.

Looking at some of these topsy turvy scores, I'm going to be pretty content with just an above average 17 for the run home I think, if that makes sense. Slater a hold, RTS too probably. Semi, picked him up two weeks ago and who knows, he could stick around the way he's playing. You'd want Teddy I guess, but whatever. Cotric I'd definitely look at keeping in the centres, and Lamb and Lolohea even could be great 18th, 19th men. SMat is touch and go, and guys like Crichton, Brown, even Wallace would be fine to keep if need be.

Watching the Kiwi cricket team batting is like watching Cody Walker. You just want to smash them.

I know Cody is a smaller body, but at the game, I was surprised just how small he is compared to a lot of the other guys.

And I think I read earlier about someone saying a second try save for him possibly, if it was Moga again, he lost the ball and I don't think they give try saves for that, only being held up.

Also this page seems to be where its a bit safer to post my score. 338 from 6 (with Captain Surgess) before the updates come through.
