my tv broke wrote:I agree 2pts for a TB would be fair. Trying to define a TB further would be too subjective. Sometimes you can run sideways and legitimately bust a tackle that creates space for men outside you, etc.. i hate the slapsy TBs but we only complain when its a player we dont own..

2 points for a TB definitely a better deal.

Main issue is that unless you rejig a bunch of other stats to compensate, it makes backs a lot less useful compared to forwards.

Also, although Fanhub can control what stats are worth, they don't control the stats themselves, so can't go around changing the definition of what constitutes a TB, try save, etc.

I think the scoring system is fine the way it is. I mean it does give some outside backs ridiculously high scores in contrast to how well they actually play because they stick their hand out and run sideways. Same thing with kick metres though it makes things a bit more even for the most part.

A junk point specialist like Teddy is just as valuable as a workhorse forward so you're not just stacking your FRF/2RF's

The problem is his missed tackle and penalty count. Currently 3 missed tackles and 2 penalties.

The scoreline at present isnt gonna get Lolo back on the field any time soon Sad... good chance for Green to rest him tbh

I knew Whitheead was going to come back and fuck me over but to be fair both of them look nothing like the season keepers they were last year. In the long run whoever you traded in for them is probably going to outscore them

JT could be a handy POD, none of the gun halves are putting their hands up to be reliable keepers

His only sub 40 score of the year was against the Eels earlier in the season mind you. Was the reason I went to get Fifita back in instead. Might actually work out well but who would have thought the wisest move of all would have been to keep Whitehead.

Moses is a disaster area, both for himself in real life and for Norman's fantasy scores.

It would be nice if Guth could get WFB/HLF/CTR 3PP. Scoring well while doing not much.
